Adriana's POV
I wake up on a semi comfortable couch. My head is killing me and everything feels hazy
"You're finally up?" my head snaps to Alek's direction
It all came back to me and I gulp
"Aleksandr my main man how the fuck are you?" I say in a very unintentional high pitch voice
He glares at me and I zip my lips
"What were you supposed to do today?"
"Uhm well you see I-" I was struggling to come up with an adequate lie
"She doesn't even respect you enough to tell the truth."
Just my luck Vladimir is back
"If you ever tried that we'd beat your ass. You're too soft on the child."
And he brought Vladilen with him too
"What a pleasant surprise. Be honest gramps I'm too cute to discipline." I say sarcastically
"Don't test us Adriana you're in big trouble." He flicked my forehead
"Yes sir." I nodded
"Answer my question."
"I was supposed to collect money from the businessman's wife."
"And what did you do instead?"
"I went to lunch with my father, uncle, and grandfather but-"
"No buts!" He growled
"Because of you Im out 8.6 million dollars." he yelled and smashed a bottle of vodka against the wall
"Waste of liquor but pop off I guess. I assure you it won't happen again. They showed up at my house and were gonna keep showing up uninvited unless I had brunch with them."
"And for that snarky comment my father and uncle will be supervising you."
"WHAT!"
"Stop yelling." he shushed me
"Calm down JJ this is just to ensure you don't walk into traps like with Gavin. You agreed you need a little more experience so we're gonna be your shadows. Think of us as your advisors. We won't interfere too much you'll just have to justify certain decisions and we'll provide feedback and advice." Vladilen explained
"What about my business with the yakuza you have no control over that."
"That's is the only thing you're allowed to work on alone but from there these are your bosses."
"Now you can go home. Just know you'll be expected in your office at 5 am."
"What that's way too early!"
"I did it, my father did it, and Aleksandr does it. Get over it." gramps shrugged
"Okay but I have to go to dinner thursday so Niko will be in charge of the opening. I also have to go on a family outing in a month or so."
"Already asking for vacation days." they laughed
"The vacation you need you I'll allow it but this Thursday will happen with you in charge. You worked hard on it so you should take the credit. If I were you I'd find them a table so you can appease both sides." Alek said
"But everything is already full."
"Figure it out. You're a smart kid." he said and I rolled my eyes
"Roll your eyes again and watch what happens." his cold stare sent shivers down my spine
"Sorry" I said and rolled my eyes again just to mess with him
"You're so annoying. Just go home JJ." I nodded and made my way to the door
"See you at 5!"
Home
I see Tyler, dad, uncle, and grandfather
"I'm so glad you're alright." Nonno said
"Yeah but now I have to be under constant supervision." I sigh and throw myself on Tyler's lap
"That's not too bad."
"He has Vladimir and Vladilen babysitting me. I need their permission for everything except my business with the Yakuza. I know it won't be that bad but it feels unnecessary."
"It'll be over before you know it." Ty combs his fingers through my hair
"I have to be in the office at 5." I whine into his chest
"Sorry AJ." Zio said
"No it's my fault if I would've remembered our lunch date I wouldn't be in this predicament. But look at the bright side he said I can go on an outing with you guys next month."
"Your mother has a fashion thing going on next month in Florida we can go with her and make a vacation out of it."
"I have a place on Tahiti Beach." Tyler said
"We'll iron out the details later but I think we should all stay in the same house since it's a family vacation." They said
"Sure."
"My place is massive and it's on a private beach you're more than welcome to stay." Tyler offered
"Perfect I'll tell your aunt and mother then they can plan the trip." Zio said
"Cool now leave or stay I don't give a fuck but I'm going to bed." I got up and went to bed
