I hugged Blaise goodbye as I walked towards the Ravenclaw carriage. I recalled what he had told me about what had happened with him and Daphne the night of the ball. He finally admitted his feelings for her and she felt the same way. To be honest I was a little annoyed she hadn't told me but I ignored this feeling best I could. I assume they're now dating. I wouldn't know. Because apparently my best friend doesn't tell me anything anymore! I pulled open the door to the Ravenclaw carriage and felt myself being pulled into a tight hug.

"Millie, I've missed you so much!" Cho said excitedly, kissing me on each cheek.

"I've missed you too." I said hugging her back tightly. Michael got up from his seat and picked me up off the floor hugging me tightly.

"Zabini you seem to be getting smaller each year." He laughed. As he put me down Anthony pulled me down onto his lap.

"Good work Millie, this years letters are much better than lasts." He said patting me on the head. I rolled my eyes at his silly comment.

"You two baboons, leave Millicent alone." Terry said, getting up to hug me. "Surprised to see you here and not in the snake carriage."

"Shut it Terry, they're my friends." I laughed. I sat in between Cho and Michael. Michael showed me his sketch books with everything he'd done over the summer.

"Michael this is s-" I was cut off by Cho inhaling sharply. "Cho, what is it?" I asked concerned.

"Sirius Black has escaped Azkaban..." She trailed off as her eyes moved along the article. Once she was done she passed me her copy of the daily prophet, I took it absorbing each word carefully.

If a death eaters escaped, where would they run to...?

This question haunted me for what would have been far too long because Cho began to tap my shoulder to check if I was ok.

"Millicent?" Terry asked.

"Where would he be going?" I asked hoping Terry would understand.

"To their master..." Terry said the realisation dawning on him too.

"I need some air." I said standing up. I walked out of the compartment and down the carriage not knowing exactly where I was headed. I looked down at my feet as I walked quickly down the corridor. All of a sudden I walked straight into someones chest, they quickly grabbed my waist preventing a painful fall.

"Oh Merlin, I'm so sorry." I said still looking down trying to regain my footing.

"You really should watch where you're going, Zabini."  Familiar voice said with a hint of laughter. I looked up to meet his cloudy blue eyes.

"Malfoy!" I said jumping up to wrap my arms around his neck. As I jumped he quickly caught me and wrapped his arms around my hips to hold me in place.

"I've missed you." He whispered gently in my ear.

"It's only been a week since the ball." I giggled. I recalled the night, the kiss, how the kiss had made him feel. He put me down leaving his hands lingering by my hips.

"About that, I hope you didn't think I was insinuating anything... I really didn't mean to get so... excited..." Draco turned a light shade of pink at his words.

"Draco it's fine, really, don't worry about it." I laughed, fiddling with some loose string on his robes.

"Good, because I was hoping we could try that again." Draco said bluntly, looking down at me with a sinister smirk. His hands that gently held my hips became tight as he pulled me towards him roughly. I went on my tip toes and leaned towards him until our lips where millimetres apart.

"I wouldn't want you to get overexcited again." I said giggling gently as I felt his warm breath against my face. And with that I turned around and began walking back towards the Ravenclaw carriage. I felt a tight grip grab ahold of my waist preventing me from walking. I struggled a little before one of the hands snaked around my neck. I felt a cold metal ring against my skin. His  large hands covered my entire neck. He swept me up to carry me bridal style. He used his foot to slide open the door to an empty compartment. He gently put me down and turned around to close the door to the compartment pulling down the blind. I felt a small flutter in my stomach. He turned to me and walked over with a confident swagger in his step. He looked down at me and took my chin in his thumb and index finger, tilting my chin up to look at him.

"You're so beautiful Millicent." He said softly.

"You're not so bad yourself Malfoy." He laughed softly at this, never breaking eye contact. I took a step closer to him putting both arms around his neck and using one hand to brush the blonde locks on the back of his head. He put one hand on my hip and used the other to draw lines up and down my spine, making me shiver. He smiled at my reaction.

"Maybe you're the one becoming over excited." Draco said smugly. I stopped combing his hair and grabbed it roughly, making him inhale sharply.

"Two can play that game Malfoy." I growled. His surprise at my sudden aggression soon turned into a smirk as he grabbed my waist roughly and leaned his head towards mine so our lips almost grazed one another softly. his fingers dug into my skin and felt as though I was going to melt into him. Regaining my composure, I swiftly grabbed Draco by his robes, and pushed him onto the seats on the other side of the compartment. He looked up at me smirking but before he could say anything I put a leg on either side of him, straddling him. He looked into my eyes with  yearning and hunger. He smirked, before placing a hand on each thigh, just slightly pushing my skirt up. As our lips were about to meet the whole train went dark leaving us blanketed in darkness. I felt a shiver run up my spine as the train became so cold I could see a cloud of breath as Draco and I exhaled into each others faces. Suddenly, it felt as though all happiness had been drained from the world. I suddenly heard my fathers scream as he dropped to the kitchen floor. I felt Draco quickly scoop me up and get off the seat. He sat me in the corner of the carriage and shielded me with his body.

"Think of your happiest memory, now." He whispered, desperation etched into his voice. I thought of a holiday we took to France when I was just nine. Draco, Daphne, Blaise and I are playing in the sea, whilst our mother sat on a picnic blanket talking happily. Father is teaching Crabbe and Goyle how to fish in the rock pool. Our family is complete and my heart fills with bliss as Draco makes a pathetic attempt to dunk me. In return Blaise and I ambush him with splashes. I squeezed my eyes even tighter shut as I let the memory replay over and over. "It's ok Millie, It's over." Draco sighed. He moved from shielding me to sit next to me on the floor of the compartment. His chest rising and falling rapidly.

"What just happened." I questioned.

"A dementor, I think." He answered, seeming exasperated.

"What did you think about Draco? The memory I mean." I asked.

"Last week when you kissed me." He smiled sheepishly.

"You mean when you kissed me." I corrected him.

"no that's not what I mean Zabini." He laughed.

"But I think it is and I c-" I was cut off by his lips connecting with mine. Our lips caressed one another slowly, as I brought a hand to his face in an attempt to deepen the kiss. Draco understood and placed a hand on my lower thigh, slowly sliding it up pushing my skirt with it. As we slowly pulled away Draco's icy eyes looked deep into mine.

"I really like you, Millicent Zabini. I have since we were kids." Draco admitted, biting his lip.

"I really like you too Malfoy." I replied, brushing my finger over his bottom lip.

"I would like it if you were mine. And no one else's." He said seriously. I thought for a moment about our tender age and if this was all too young and silly to be taken seriously. I guess I didn't care though.

"I was yours, am yours, and will be your's, Malfoy." I said, nuzzling into his now strong chest. His kissed my forehead and combed his fingers through my hair.
