It was our first Hogsmeade trip, Cho and I were buzzing with excitement. She had already planned out a day for us, we were going to Honey Dukes, then the hill looking over the shrieking shack as Terry didn't care for joke shops and Anthony doesn't like butterbeer. Once we arrived at Honey dukes Terry and I went straight to the pumpkin pasties grabbing as many as we could carry.
"Have you ever met someone who was afraid the moon?" I asked Terry, my mind wandering to the defence against the dark arts lesson.
"No? What a curious fear." He replied giving the pumpkin pasties to the cashier.
"I can't work it out."
"What kind of a moon."
"full."
"awooooo." Michael began to howl as he overheard our conversation.
"Werewolf?" I muttered to myself.
Once we got back to the castle I noticed Seamus and the rest of the Gryffindors all sitting on the floor of the great hall.
"What's going on?" I asked Seamus, as me and Cho sat next to him.
"The fat lady she wasn't in her portrait, she, she saw S-S-Sirius B-Black!" Seamus replied
"What?!" Cho cried.
"He's in the castle..." Seamus said fear tugging his expression to a frown.
Draco and I sat next to each other in a very different set up of the defence against the dark arts classroom we had become accustomed to. Professor Snape strode into the class purposefully, closing the blinds with his wand as he approached the front of the class. He pulled down a screen, before turning to face the class.
"Turn to page 394." He began. We obliged.
"Excuse me sir, where's Professor Lupin?" Harry asked.
"That's not really any of your concern, is it Potter? However, your Professor finds himself incapable of teaching at the present time. Page 394." Snape snapped tapping a projector with his wand.
"Werewolves?" Ron asked when he finally got to the page.
"But sir, we've only just started learning about red caps and hinky punks, we're not meant to start nocturnal beasts for weeks?" Hermione began.
"Quite!" Snape warned.
"When did she get here? Did you see her come in?!" Ron asked. Harry shook his head also looking baffled.
"Now which one of you can tell me the difference between an animagus and a werewolf?!" Snape asked. Hermione's hand shot up and I decided to put mine up too.
"Millicent?" Snape said, but just as I was going to begin Hermione interrupted me.
"Sir, an animagus..." Hermione droned on so I drowned her out already knowing the answer anyway. I looked at Draco who I noticed was looking down at our legs, my skirt had ridden right up my leg exposing my whole thigh. I quickly pulled it down and blushed a light shade of pink. Draco sighed.
"You ruined my view."
"You're gross." I stated.
"You might not want to speak to me like that." He drawled, placing a cold hand on my knee. I shivered. This made Draco smirk. He began to fiddle with the hem of my skirt, making my breath quicken.
Ron POV
I watched from across the room as Draco and Millie played under their table. His hand moving up and down her thigh stroking her, tickling her. Making her chest rise and fall gracefully as she ever so slightly rolled her eyes to the back of her head, whilst tipping her head back. Her cheeks were slightly flushed as she bit down on her lip. This only egged Malfoy on, making my blood boil. Slimy git.
End of Ron POV
Draco stopped messing with me and took out a scrap piece of parchment and draw a picture of Potter getting struck by lightning during the upcoming Quidditch match. He folded it into a bird and blew on it so it flew gracefully to Potter's desk. Harry looked at it before looking up at Draco who gave him a malicious smile.
Slytherin pulled out of the Quidditch match due to the torrential rain and were replaced by Hufflepuff. I couldn't wait for our first Quidditch match as Rodger Davies informed Cho she was the new seeker and I the new chaser. I would be chasing with Rodger himself and Jeremy Stretton. Blaise also made the Slytherin team as beater and I was greatly looking forward to when our team would destroy Slytherin. The sky sobbed hysterically, giving the afternoon a melancholy tone, that put a sinking feeling in my chest.
"Millie where are you going?" Anthony asked me.
"I don't feel like sitting in the rain, I'm going back to the common rooms." I said, shivering.
"I'll come with you, this is terribly boring." Terry said.
"Me too!" Michael chimed in, getting up with us as we pushed through the stands to get to the staircase leading down to the fields surrounding the pitch. Once we got into the common room I grabbed my advanced charms book and followed Michael into the secret room.
"I missed it in here." I gasped as I looked around the walls filled with delicate brushes of paint. I look at the ceiling and noticed vines with beautiful pink flowers growing on the ceiling, dangling down and weaving in and out of the chandelier.
"What are you doing with an advanced charms book?" Terry asked, forcing my eyes away from Michael who was gently brushing onto the wall.
"Flitwick gave it to me." I said shrugging.
"You can't be that good at charms? That's NEWT level stuff." Terry replied.
"Want to bet?" I asked with a sly grin. I put down the book and pulled out my wand. "Ok, I only just started practicing this one though." I cleared my throat. "Expecto patronum!" I bellowed. A sliver snake came out of my wand, it slithered around the room followed by clouds of silver mist before it evaporated.
"What the hell, what third year can cast a patronus?" Michael said in awe, my spell had clearly distracted him from his painting.
"H-how did you..." Terry stammered.
"What?" I asked confused, the spell wasn't particularly hard.
"Millie, you are one of a kind." Michael chuckled.
"And I thought I was good at charms, guess I'll just stick to history of magic then." Terry mumbled. I chuckled and jumped onto the assortment of cushions, burying my head into my book.
