The door bell rang and I jumped up from the sofa putting my book down and rushing to the doors, squirming with excitement. I pulled open the double doors of our family manor to see a pretty Raven haired girl standing there beaming.

"Cho!" I screamed, pulling her into a tight hug.

"Millie I've missed you so much, how was your summer?" My best friend said, holding me tightly.

"Sort of boring to be honest, I told mother I didn't want to go away with the Malfoy's this year so I've pretty much just been here." I said, pulling her inside and closing the door behind us.

"Look how huge this place is, you must never get bored!"

"Well Blaise and I keep each other occupied." I said, giving her trunk to a house elf, then putting the kettle on.

"Where is Blaise?" She asked, sitting at the informal dining table.

"Upstairs with Daphne." I grimaced.

"Awww are you jealous, you're losing your brother and best friend?" Cho laughed.

"No, I just wished they'd take their tongues out of each other mouths for a minute." I said, rolling my eyes. I handed Cho a cup of tea and listened while she got me up to date on her summer.

"My dad got a new job at the ministry and he met this man Amos Diggory, whose son is in Hufflepuff, he's a prefect, Cederic Diggory?"

"Cho, I haven't got the faintest idea who you're talking about." I said bluntly, sipping my tea.

"C'mon Millie, he's tall, brown hair, brown eyes, handsome...?"

"I literally couldn't tell you the name of one Hufflepuff." I said laughing.

"Millie there's Huff-"

"Hello girls." Blaise said, cutting Cho off, his shirt was mis-buttoned and his cheeks slightly flushed. Daphne skipped in behind him her hair in a very messy bun.

"Daph, your skirt is on inside out." I said bluntly.

"Oh, oops, who's this?" She asked, trying to change the subject as her cheeks turned bright red.

"Hey, I'm Cho Chang, Millie's best friend." Cho said sweetly offering a hand for Daphne to shake. Daphne pursed her lips and shook Cho's hand reluctantly.

"Haven't you know Millie for like 3 years...? Funny it's been 14 for us." Daphne said as if trying to prove something.

"Yeah and maybe if you weren't so busy with my brother..." I mumbled, trailing off.

"Will you be accompanying us to the Quidditch World Cup?" Blaise asked trying to play the mediator.

"That's the plan, my bets on Ireland." Cho said, happy with the change of subject.

"Yeah but Viktor Krum will definitely catch the golden snitch." Blaise continued, attempting to re-button his shirt.

"Enough quiditch talk, we have to get our things together, c'mon Millie." Daphne said, now all interested in me.

"You're right Daph," I began sweetly, "c'mon Cho your stuffs in my room." I said glaring at Daphne. She gave me a guilty look as if she were apologising, but I just grabbed Cho's hand and lead her out of the kitchen up the grand carpeted stair-case and into my room. Daphne and I had been friends forever but now that she was behaving like this with my brother, everything seemed to change.

I was dreading diner that night, because the Malfoy's were coming. They were escorting us to the ministers box to watch the Quiditch World Cup. I shivered at the thought of having to meet Draco's cold stare. I would be lying if I said I didn't miss him. I'd spent the summer mostly on my own with Blaise and Daphne being the way they were. I remembered the way he used to kiss me with such passion and-
