I woke up and got out of bed heading to my kitchen to get a drink and a snack.
"Goodmorning sweetheart." I heard my dad call out to me.
"Morning dad." I responded grabbing my go to flavor of poptarts and a water bottle.
"So me and Michael were thinking and we noticed that you often sit in your room and play on that game of yours. So, I wanted to spend some time with you and go on a camping trip." He told me.
"That sounds fine." I said smiling at him.
"And no phone on the trip."
"But what if you and Gilbert decide to leave me alone at the camp to go get something?"
"Okay, but that's the only time you'll get it."

I just smiled at him and walked back to my room with my poptarts and water.
