JOSSESY'S POV

JULY 16

Midnight

I woke up in a dark room, I felt the cold chains on my hands and feet but i could still move a certain distance. I tried to summon my sword to cut off the chains,but i guess these types of chains cancels out magic energy. So i got off the. . .bed? where am I ? I walked to the nearby door and noticed the door was unlocked I open the door and looked down the hallway, pitch black. I turned on the light in my room and started toward the hallway but the chain held me back. I turned to see the beautiful pink bedroom. Why would he put me in this room, and why dose it feel so. .familiar?

"BIG SISTER"

I felt two small arms wrap around my waist

"Big sister?" I questioned

"You don't remember me sis?" Said the delicate voice

I turned to see a little girl about the age of 7 or 8. She had short brown hair and light pink eyes like me,she wore a dirty pair of shorts and a ripped shirt.

"Kate?" A tear rolled down my face as she hugged me even tighter

"Big sister"She cried sobbing into my shirt

It has been 3 years since I had last seen her.

"Why did you stay in this horrid place" I asked whipping away my tears

"Mom was going to come back from work,I couldn't just leave her to face him alone" I she stated "And I got the boys to come back home with me"

"This place is NOT home, this place is a prison"I stared at her intensely

"Your right, and now that your here we can break free"she said joyfully

After that we caught up with each other and I told her many stories of my adventures before and with the Spartin crew. As I told her,her eyes lit up like fireworks on the fourth of July. She seemed so happy to see me again, but we both knew our happiness would be cut short.

"I think you should head back to your room before dad gets his midnight drink" our smiles slowly faded

"Yea, just make sure u lock your room door"said the small girl "You never know what happens when he's drunk"

"Goodnight sister" I give one last hug "please. . . survive tonight"

"I will"

She makes her way to the door and walks out,but before the door shuts Kate turns around and gives me he biggest grin.

"Welcome home sister"

The door slams shut, the lights of my room go off. I hear screaming down the hallway. He got to her.

I struggle to open the door of my room, but it was locked on the outside.

Kate called my name begging for help

"JOSSESY!! JOSSESY SAVE ME" She cried

"KATE!"I looked out one of the window on my door, only to see my father beating her to death.

"GET AWAY FROM HER YOU MONSTER"I screamed bagging my fist on the door

The blood splattered on the wall.

"AAAAAAAAHHHHH" she cried in pain

"LITTLE SISTER" I yelled with tears streaming down my face

"SHUT UP"He shouted and kick Kate to the other end of the hallway like a rag doll

He gulped down the bottle of tequila he had in his hand And threw the empty bottle at my door.

"WELCOME HOME BI*TH"he shouted like a maniac "SEE WHAT I DID TO YOUR SISTER, THAT'S GOING TO BE YOU TOMORROW IF YOU DON'T FOLLOW THESE THREE RULES"

I glared at him

"ONE, IM THE KING! TWO DON'T TOUCH MY DRINKS!! THREE NO ONE LEAVES THIS HOUSE WITH OUT MY APPROVAL!! GOT IT!?"

I didn't respond

"THAT WAS A QUESTION,NOW ANSWER ME" He shouted

I stayed quiet

He walked over to my door and smashed a hole in it,the grabbed me by my collar

"ANSWER ME SLAVE"

"I heard you loud and clear"I dully said rolling my eyes

"Good" He there me to the back of my room and stormed off

Once he was gone, Kate got off the floor a limped back to her room,yet she still gave me a smile as she passed by my door. No matter how much pain she was in she was still able to say:

"Welcome home big sister"
