CHAPTER 9

" I am sorry, I took so long to find out the truth, you have been facing this battle alone, but not anymore.. I am here to face this together with you, I will always be by your side, Wei.."

Yunlan's words left him speechless.. How can he  bear to push him away after hearing this.. Shen Wei hug him back as tight as he can, bawling his eyes out in his embrace. " I am scared .. Ah lan .. I really am.. am I going to die? I don't want to die yet, I really don't want to die! ... there's so much I want to do! I want to live my life with you!" Shen Wei lost control of himself and cry really loud this time, like a lost child, that he can bearly breathe.

Tears drop from yunlan's eyes too and he secure Shen Wei into his broad chest.

" I won't let you die, Wei. I am not gonna let that happen trust me."
Yunlan strokes his back trying to soothe him and kisses shen wei's forehead. It was the first time Yunlan felt so helpless , not able to control his own life. Shen Wei slept after heavy crying on his embrace and Yunlan carried him in a bridal style to their bedroom.After he tucked shen wei on bed, Yunlan called Yezun, shen Wei's twin brother and only family..

Yunlan told Yezun everything about his illness and Yezun was devastated hearing the news. He can't believe his precious gege is suffering so much.

The next day, Yunlan arranged for shen Wei's sick leave and called his private medical team and Dr Cheng over to discuss shen Wei's condition in presence of Yezun who came running the next day to meet shen Wei while shen Wei is still asleep after his dosage of medications. The doctors and Dr Cheng recommended to send shen Wei to the best neurosurgeons team which is across the country to the U.S.

" Make the preparations, get the best neurosurgeons , cost doesn't matter." Yunlan instructed the team.

After Shen Wei woke up he was happy to see Yezun but didn't cry at all in front him.. He has to be strong in front of his Didi.. Yezun also wanted to go to US with them but shen Wei stopped him as he has his family to look after. Yes, Yezun is already married to Peng Guanying, and has a 3yrs old daughter( adopted).

" You better come back to me, or I will never forgive you if you ever think of leaving me behind alone." Yezun said with teary eyes and be as strong as possible in front of shen Wei.
" I will. How can I leave my lovely Didi?" Shen Wei assure him and gave him a tight hug. After some talking Yezun left for home and shen wei again broke down.

Yunlan, on the other hand, cancelled all his meetings and appointments just to be at home for shen wei, taking care of him, comforting him, being sweeter than ever.
