Y/n's Pov

Its 11pm already and Kageyama still hasn't returned. I wonder if he's still with Mai?

I continued with my school work listening to music on my speaker when i hear the door open.

He walked in with red puffy eyes like he's been crying. He walked to the bed and went under the covers curling into a ball sniffling. I walked over to him going under the blanket to cuddle him from behind trying to comfort him.

We were there for about 10 minutes until he turned over facing me digging his face into me hugging me back tight while he starts crying. I hugged him tighter placing my chin on top of his head caressing his hair letting him cry.

"What happened Kageyama?" I said in a worried voice but he didn't respond

"You can talk to me ill listen and be here for you. If you don't want to talk I understand"

"Can you just hold me please I don't want to talk about it right now" he said crying in between his words

"Okay" I said continuing to hold him

He ended falling asleep in my arms. I go up from the bed taking his jeans and shirt off so he's comfortable enough and laid back into bed with him bringing him into my arms once again.

Morning time came and my alarm for school went off. I was about to get out of bed to get ready when I felt a tug on my tank top.

"Please don't leave" he said in his sad sleepy voice

"We have to get ready for school Kageyama"

"Just skip school today and stay with me in bed. I don't feel like going today" he said pulling me back into bed

"Can you tell me what happened?"

"Me and mai broke up" he said with glossy eyes

"I told her about the engagement and she said she couldn't do it. I get it I really do. I understand why she wouldn't want to be with me anymore. It just hurts because if non of thus happened we wouldn't have broken up." He said with tears rolling down his face

"Im sorry. This is all my fault" I said with a sad voice feeling bad

"If my father never went behind my back you guys wouldn't have broken up im so sorr-"

"It's not your fault y/n. It's nobodys fault it was bound to happen sooner or later I just wish it couldve been later" he said hugging me tight
