Background Information: Luna was found by the Romanian Coven when she was nearly beaten to death by her father who has blamed her for her mothers death since she died giving birth to Luna. Stefan turned her because they both sensed he would be able to get information about the Volturi. When the Volturi checks in on the Romanians Aro learns of Luna's gift he asks her if she will join the Volturi. She only accepts after finding out her mate is the Volturi tracker. Before the Volturi leaves Aro reminds the Romanians they are not to create anymore vampires or they would be destroyed. Luna and Demetri both meet Alexis after she gives up on tracking Victoria in London. They however don't learn of her creators until later on.
