I said my goodbyes to my family. They are and will forever be my family.

Noah and Daniel helped me bring my bags to the car.

We put them in the trunk.

"Thank you guys," I said.

"No problem," Noah said.

Daniel sighed. "We will miss you so much, Ellie."

I frowned. "I'll miss you guys too."

My mom, dad, Jack and Max ran over to me.

We group hugged.

"Aw. I'm sorry to break apart this little moment but, Ellie it's time to go," Mrs. Dawson said.

We pulled away.

I nodded.

"Okay," I began."I'm sorry."

"For what?"

"Being a disappointment," I said. Those were my last words before I got into the car.

I didn't hear anything else before we had started the car and began to drive off to my new house.

I took out my journal that the nurse had given me.

It really was a nice journal.

I began to write in the journal.

'This will be an interesting experience...'

Then, I put the pen back into a matching pouch and then I just stared at the journal.

"What's that, sweetie?" Mrs. Dawson asked.

"It's a journal that the nurse gave me."

"Well, that was very thoughtful of her."

I nodded.

The rest of the drive was pretty silent.

I stared out the window most of the time.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Three hours went by and we finally arrived.

She pulled into the driveway.

There was a beautiful light brown colored house.

It looked cozy and clean from the outside.

I hope that's what it feels like inside the house.

The house looked pretty big.

I hope I don't get lost.

Mrs. Dawson parked the car in the garage.

"Alright, I'll help you bring your luggage to your room," she began. "I'll have someone give you the tour later."

I just nodded.

We got out of the car and walked to the trunk.

I picked up one bag and she picked up the other.

We walked in sync to the door.

She unlocked the door and we walked inside.

The house smelled refreshing...like cranberries.

"It smells good," I said.

"Thank you," she began. "I like cranberries."

"Me too," I said.

She smiled. I smiled back.

We walked upstairs and she led me to a room.

We put the bags down onto the floor.

"Thank you for helping me carry the stuff up here, Mrs. Dawson," I said.

She looked a little hurt.

"Of course," she said. "Well, I'll let you look around and explore. Just let me know if you need anything."

I nodded.

She walked out of my room.

I looked around my new room.

Then, I decided to walk around the house.

I walked out of my bedroom and into the hallway. I speed-walked down the hall and went to the middle floor.

I want to start all the way downstairs and then make my way upstairs.

Do they even have a basement?

I'm guessing they do because of the size of their house.

I found a door near the garage.

I opened it and saw stairs.

I walked downstairs and saw a TV, some controllers, a pool table, a couple couches, some chairs, a mini kitchen, a bathroom and a vending machine.

Wow.

That's so cool.

But, who would play all of those games?

I decided to go back upstairs to the main floor.

Nothing too exciting was on that floor compared to the basement.

There was the living room, kitchen, dinning room, bathroom, a couple closets, an office and a library and they had a movie theater.

They had some pretty good books in the library.

The movie theater was cool. It wasn't one of those huge movie theaters like in mansions, but it was still cool.

Then, I decided to look out the window to the backyard.

The backyard was nice.

There was lots of space. And there was lots of grass and there was even a pool.

Maybe I could learn to swim. But, tanning would be nice.

I went back upstairs another level. The last floor.

I walked through the hall.

I counted four bedrooms.

Why four?

There's probably a guest room.

I decided to just peek inside all of the rooms, because I wanted to know what the whole house looked like.

One of the doors leads to my new bedroom, so there's only three other rooms left.

I opened a door and saw a bedroom that was neat, but there was lots of stuff in the room, so I'm guessing that's my new parent's bedroom.

I saw another door and I opened it it looked clean and not a lot of things were there. So, that must be the guest bedroom.

But, what is in the third room?

I open the door and see a bedroom that looks like it belongs to a teenage boy.

I can tell because I'm dating one.

The walls were grey and the bed had black covers on it.

There was a guitar in the corner of the room.

It smelled like cologne.

A very familiar scent.

"Who's room is this?" I asked out loud.

"That would be me," a voice said from behind me. "But, now what I'm wondering is why a girl is in my bedroom."

A familiar voice.

I turned around.

My jaw dropped. "Kyle?!"
