Chapter 15 - Room 301

Three long hours later, we finally got to Los Angeles. Sure, it looked nice and pretty, but that's not how I feel about the place. 

"Where are we staying?" I asked.

"A hotel," Daniel said.

"We don't have enough money."

"Yeah, we do..." Daniel said. Then, he took a huge stack of cash out of his pocket. 

"Daniel, where did you get all that money from?" I asked.

"Well, I may have won a few bets at school..."

I just rolled my eyes. "Whatever, let's just go, I'm tired."

"Okay."

We got off of the bus and thanked the man. 

Then, Daniel led the way towards the hotel. 

After a while of walking, I noticed something. 

A beach. 

I looked at the sign. 'Sunset Beach.'

That's the same beach that I went to the last time I was here. 

I looked across from the beach and saw the hotel that I hoped I would never see again. 

"A-are we staying there?" I stuttered.

"Yep." Daniel said.

That's where I got drunk. That's where I slept with Kyle. This can't be happening. 

It's all coming back to me. 

No, no, no. 

I screamed. 

Daniel looked at me in shock and then quickly put his handover my mouth. 

I stopped screaming. 

"Ellie, what the hell was that?" He asked, while taking his hand off of my mouth. 

"Oh, that...um there was a bug on my leg!"

"You're such a little baby!" He said. 

"No I'm not," I said. 

"Yes you are," Daniel said. "Now let's go to the hotel."

I rolled my eyes again. "Fine."

I mean, it's not like a have a choice. 

I nodded and we walked to the hotel.

"Hello, how are you two today?" The woman asked.

"We're fine, thank you," I said.

"Oh, Ellie! It's you again! Hi! I missed you!" She said. 

I looked closer and noticed it was Alicia. 

"Hi, I missed you too!" I said. 

"You guys know each other?" Daniel asked. 

"Yeah, from the last time I was in LA," I said. 

Daniel just nodded. 

"Cool. Anyways, we would like to purchase your cheapest hotel room," Daniel said.

"Alright," the woman said. "The total will be $175."

Daniel handed the woman the cash and she took it and put it in the cash register.

"You guys will be staying in room 301, here is your key card, and thank you, I hope you enjoy your stay." The woman said.

Room 301? That's the same room 

"Um, is there a way to get a different room?" I asked. 

"Well, that's the only room we have available right now, because of holidays and traveling," the woman said. 

I nodded. "Okay, that's fine. Thank you."

"Thank you," Daniel said.

"Of course! Just let me know if you need anything," she said.

"Thank you," I said.

I smiled.

Then, Daniel and I walked up to room 301.

Daniel swiped the key card against the metal and the door unlocked.

We walked inside.

"Only one bed?" Daniel asked. 

"I know right?" I asked. 

Daniel nodded. 

"Why did you want to switch rooms? What do you have against this one?" He asked. 

"A lot." I muttered under my breath. 

"What was that?"

"Oh, nothing. But, I wanted to switch rooms because this is the same room I was in when Kyle and I were here," I said. 

"You guys slept together?" Daniel asked. 

I nodded. 

"Gross."

"Whatever. It didn't mean to happen."

"Sure." Daniel said in a sarcastic tone. 

"Your so annoying," I said. 

"Thanks, I try to be."
