Kyle's POV:

I woke up in a basement. And it wasn't mine.

"Well, well, well, Kyle." Someone said.

I turned around and saw Ellie's brothers.  All freaking three of them. Wait, where's Daniel?

"What am I doing here?" I asked.

"You have been abusing our little sister!" Noah shouted.

Now, I remember. Crap.

Ellie is so going to get hurt when I get home.

"Either you can stop abusing her, or we're taking her back!" Jack said.

"Yeah, I don't think it works that way, kid," I said.

He rolled his eyes at me. "Whatever."

He's so much like Ellie. Annoying and stubborn.

"Fine, I'll stop." I said.

"For real?" Noah asked.

"Yep. For real."

"Promise?" Max asked. Max looked so mad.

"Yes, I promise," I said.

I tried to make sure that my face expression didn't show any feelings. I don't need them to know how I'm feeling. I don't need them to see the lies on my face.

"Okay, your free to go," Max said.

"Thanks," I said in a sarcastic tone.

He rolled his eyes. Huh, I guess the eye rolling runs in the family.

I chuckled to myself.

Ellie better watch out. Because I'm coming for her.

I grab my phone out of my pocket and call someone.

"Hey," I said.

"Hey."

"I think it's time we ganged up on Ellie," I said.

"Agreed. She wasn't at school today, but I'm going to be picking her up a little gift for her going-away party." Nick said.

"I know you were just using a metaphor, but we should totally throw her a going-away party!" I said.

"Nah, that'd be a lot of work, and I don't want to spend all my time on that little suicidal brat!"

"Come on, dude. It'll be fun..for us! We'll make a cake and everything!"

"Fine," Nick said.

"Awesome. How about when Ellie gets back, we gang up on her with the others?" I asked.

"Of course!"

"I gotta go, but I can't wait!"

"Neither can I!" Nick said.

I hung up on Nick and then smirked.

---------------------------------------------

I just got back home.

"Ellie! I'm home! Where are you?!" I shouted.

No reply.

I shouted a couple more times, but no one answered.

I decided to call her.

"Hello?" She asked.

"Where the fudge are you?" I asked.

"Los Angeles. Why?"

"Why are you there?"

"No reason! I gotta go." She said.

"Wait, I--"

She hung up.

Great. Note the sarcasm.

Whatever.

...I need to start planning for when we gang up on her, and I need to plan for the party as well.

She is going to be in so much trouble when she gets home. And I know that I'll have fun with that.
