Miley was practically dragging the undead vampire and her sister down the hill. She wasn't making too much progress so soon she actually got onto the back of Seth. She knew he had to be telling Sam some excuse to not get in trouble right now. But also that Sam would tell him if she came back with a broken arm he'd regret it. I could tell by how slow Seth was going, it resembled his driving that time with Leah. I brought it up making multiple howls echo in the distance, and a whine escape Seth.
Rather then running ahead Edward actually stayed with us as extra security. Everyone was still in wolf form when we returned, so I didn't exactly get to see my boys and girl in person but I walked over to them and petted a few of them. I felt all the Cullens weird eyes on me, and checked that it wasn't because of my bleeding arm from earlier.
Sam saw me glance at it making squinted glare as he looked at it then to the Cullens. I knew that look. It was the 'we are talking about what you did later' face.
"The volturi is here, the wolves better leave they won't except a truce with our mortal enemies." Edward said looking off in a random direction. We were about to leave when a red eyed man came out of the woods, his eyes seemed to lock on me as he began charging. Leah seeing this and being closest tried to attack him, but it was expected.
The man was clearly about to kill Leah or severely hurt her making a scream leave my mouth before I could stop it. Jacob quickly saved Leah making my heart and scream stop.... for a moment. Now Jacob had the newborns arms around him, before having his bones crushed in the ribs. He immediately crumpled to the ground now in human form as one of the boys took care of the newborn. I sob escaped me as I ran towards him falling beside his naked body. Bella soon was by my side not as emotional just saying he would be okay.
"The volturi will be here soon they need to leave now." Edward said as Carlisle agreed to meet and help at Billy's house. The boys and Leah carried Jacobs body, I was following when the Cullens stopped me. "Miley they know you were at the battle and want to meet you" Alice said making me freeze and looks between her and same in a panic. How did they know about me being here? Or really in general?
"Absolutely not she's coming with me or I'm staying." Sam said ready to let his pack carry Jacob without him. "Sam it'll cause a fight and she'll be turned, it's best you leave." Edward said clearly seeing Alice's thoughts. Sam looked to be in physical pain, "I'll be okay.... go." I said with a weak smile I knew he wouldn't believe me. But the seriousness of the situation he nodded grimly kissing me goodbye as he ran after his pack.
As soon as he left three hooded figures with red eyes came out from the woods. Practically gliding as they made their way closer to us. "Looks like we missed an interesting fight." The girl with platinum blonde hair said in a monotone voice, hard to tell if she were happy or sad about it. "We could've used your help but we handled it." Carlisle said yet again earning a non blinking stare. Creepily her eyes went to me as she seemed to look me up and down assessing me. "So this must be the famous Miley Swan..... both of them are still human...... Aro will be interested to hear-" Jane began saying with a smirk cut short by Bella's answer, "the dates been set." But her words cut deep to my soul, they thought I was gonna be changed? Did the Cullens and Bella agree to this?
"Looks like you forgot one." Jane said with interest looking at the girl behind esme. She soon began torturing the girl just by merely looking at her. After the Cullens managed to get her to stop her eyes went to me. "I wonder if you hold the same potential as your sister." She said with a small smile before Edward stood in front of me. "That's enough Jane." He said gravely, I could tell she was able to take him if she wanted. "Either we do this now or I can get permission from aro to come check again later." She said in a sweet but ominous tone. Edward reading her thoughts looked pained, probably knowing she would do it and this 'Aro' would agree to it.
I slowly side stepped from behind him and balled my hands into fists making eye contact with her. "Warning this may hurt." She said not even sounding upset by it. I stared into her lifeless blood red eyes and waited in fear for the excruciating pain to come, ......but it never did. "Clearly she possesses same power as her sister Jane....no need to strain yourself." Edward said with slight venom in his voice as she looked frustrated.
"Just know that Aro will be interested to know of this as well. I recommend changing them sooner rather then later..... Aro is an impatient man." She said as she gestured for one of the men to get rid of the girl behind the Cullens. She whimpered in fear as he began walking towards her. "Please she didn't know what she was doing" esme begged but the man still tore apart the red eyed girl with long brown hair.

I couldn't help but glare at both Edward and Bella with nothing but hatred. "What were they talking about? When they kept referencing being changed?" I asked feeling dread go through me. "Miley maybe this would be better a different time?" Carlisle tried to soothe as Edward drove us to Jakes house. "No I wanna know now, this involves me it's my decision." I said with the pain evident in my voice.
"They we're gonna kill Bella and someone to kill you....... the only way to stop it was saying we would change you." Edward said clearly upset of this. "Why would they trust your word?" I asked slightly pained at the idea of being one of them and the boys hating me. But he stayed silent trying to decide if telling me something was smart or not. "How would they trust you?" I asked again as he shook his head. "Alice saw it, and showed Aro." Edward said not even glancing at me as I felt my eyes begin to burn.
"Can't things be changed?" I asked in a slight sob not wanting this future. "Things can change the future all the time Miley." Carlisle soothed to relax me. "Yeah and his name is Sam Uley.... he would never let that happen." I said more to myself then them but they stayed quiet.
As we pulled into the driveway my tears still rested in my eyes as I ran up the ramp and into Sams awaiting arms. He looked so relieved to see me, or was it to see me human. "Sam we need to talk." I said with a slight quiver making his back go straight.
