Asher Yun was a boy that was highly regarded by his teachers. They all had the best things to say about him. How he paid attention in class, was participative but also not at front and prideful. He was kind and tried to balance his school work with extracurriculars that gained his merit points. But there was one thing most would agree on. He was quiet. He didn't speak out for himself and for a boy so intelligible yet he couldn't voice out for himself.
It brought quite a worry to the teachers that cared most about him. They thought something might be wrong at home for him to be quite passive about himself. But surely a boy like him was treasured and loved at home?
No one was really able to meet Asher's parents. His closest friends, teachers nor anyone else have. The boy's parents never went to his recitals nor his competitions. They didn't even attend his recognition days but he was telling them nothing about the situation at home so what could people know. They knew he had siblings but all of them went to separate schools. So who was Asher Yun as a son exactly?
Asher always followed his schedule. Be early at school, attend all his classes, stay inside the campus for breaks unless consecutive free periods, attend his after school clubs, go to his musical instruments practices then poof. Before 7 am and after 7 pm, no one knew where he was. Even his closest friends admitted that the boy was always off during those hours. He answered no messages unless an emergency, he declined hanging out at hours past and he just disappeared off the grid.
Even his family didn't know where he was. Sure he'd pass by his mother's coffee shop to help out until 9 pm then he'd be off. Since no one was at home really, if they were then all were out like a light, so they just assumed he studied and practiced and just tried to be more of what people expected him to be. That was until Blake Yun, the eldest of the 3 Yun siblings, had stayed out one night and passed by an open crowd concert. It was late and dark but there was something happening around the block.
Even though it was considered a concert, people weren't the usual noisy and screaming. This was a bit on the cooler and chill side where people had picnic mats and just enjoyed the performances. There were food stalls, merchandise stalls, a stage, and a small tent where the behind the scenes crew and performers stayed. So Blake decided to stay and watch as he had time to kill. Who wanted to go back to a dead house? His sister was also at a camp and his younger brother was off the grids.
So he stayed and enjoyed it. The performers did good but one caught his eye. It was a boy who played the bass, a band with him, and he sang the most astonishing lyrics. His performance caught a trance for the crowd and even Blake was hypnotized by it. He decided to meet up with the boy later and he couldn't' help but feel it was someone familiar to him.
