Mei (Part 28)

Zuko's <POV>

I laid in bed, tracking through every detail of her face I had memorized so eagerly while I was falling in love with her.

Her innocent and sweet lips, her glossy curved eyes that had hid so much pain with a secure glare. That would glimmer shades of gold and red I had never even knew were colors. Her cute button nose, which would light up rosy pink along with her cheeks.

Tears have been constantly running down my cheeks since that moment. She had ran away from me with such hatred and hurt in her eyes.

What have I done?

I hurt her again... it had now become multiple times.

I had hurt the most valuable thing in my heart.

She's gone.

What even happened?

I've been tracing through all my memories but I have no idea why Mei was in bed with me. I trust I didn't have sex with her, I would never be aroused by anyone other then my love.

I don't remember any of it, anything past that night. How am I supposed to forgive myself for something I can't remember?

A door opens, I hear the lock click.

I remain laid down on my bed, I don't even bother to move my eyes.

"Uncle, I desperately just want to be alone right now." I say, my voice more raspy then usual from all the crying.

"It's me~ Zuko." A deep feminine voice says sheepishly hitting every one of my nerves.

"Get the fuck out." I yell harshly, shooting a ray of fire to barley nick Mei's skin.

"Awwww, but I had so much fun that night." She pouted sarcastically. Taking a seat in my desk chair and turning her full attention to me.

"Just because I didn't kill you, doesn't mean I won't."
I say bitterly, turning my eyes to glare at her.
"What happened that night."

"We met in the city, got drinks. And came back to your room. I think you can guess what went on from there."

"I would've remembered, and in addition I would never have sex with you." I yell, as anger manifests.

"Just to remind you, Prince Zuko." She spat giving me a stare. "I was your girlfriend, until you left me with nothing but a note."

"I'm sorry Mei." I calm myself down "But I'm in love with someone else now, so please don't sabotage it."

Mei rolls her eyes.

"Ugh fine... I'll tell you. You were boring me anyways."
