Whats the plan ?

It was a Thursday and I was in history with my boyfriend Mako. We've been dating for 9 months now and it's been amazing,but lately we've been fighting and it seems like he's getting distant. So I was thinking about asking him to come over to my house and have a small date. Once the bell rang I went up to him and wrapped my arm around his.

Korra: so I was thinking we can have a small date and watch the notebook while we eat some pizza and cuddle for a while

Mako: I can't I'm going to be busy

Korra: you have been saying that for the past 2 weeks, is something wrong ?

Mako: I don't know

Korra: what's going on with you?

Mako: I just think....

Korra: you think what ?

Mako: I think we need to break up

Korra: break up ? Why ? What happened ?

Mako: I don't know I've been losing feelings and I think I like this other girl and I don't want to hurt you so I think we should just end it.

I froze and didn't know what to say nor think I felt hurt and tears started filling up my eyes. I backed away from Mako and started walking the other way letting out the tears that I was holding back not letting him see me cry as I said to him " fine I hope everything works out with that other girl" then I proceeded to walk away. The rest of the day was exhausting and all I wanted to do was go home but I still had one more period before I could do that. As I was walking to gym I suddenly felt someone grabbed both my shoulders from behind and jump me like if they we were my fucking backpack.

Asami: Onward peasant take me to the gym 

Korra: Sami I'm not in the mood today

Opal comes from behind following Asami and I to the gym.

Opal: are you okay Korra ?

Asami: yeah who took the spare stick out of your ass?

Korra: Can you just get off me ?

Asami: fine

She gets off and starts walking on the right side of me.

Asami: what's wrong ?

Korra (sigh): Mako broke up with me.

Asami: what ?! Do you need me and Opal to kick his ass ?!

Korra: no it's fine

Opal: did he say why ?

Korra: he started having feelings for some other girl.

Asami: do you know who it is ?

Korra: no he didn't say who

Opal: do you wanna do anything about it ?

Korra: I- I don't know I still like him and I want him back. I just wish he can just come up to me and tell me sorry and regret breaking up with me.

Opal: Well you can get him jealous that always works on boys

Korra: ha yeah with who ?

Opal: hmm it can be anyone to be honest, but we need someone better looking smarter, sweeter, cooler.

Korra: but I don't want to hurt the other person so they should know the plan as while

Opal: yeah... oh how about Asami

Asami: Me ?!

Opal: yeah what would get a guy more pissed than losing his ex to a hot girl

Korra: I mean she makes a point

Asami: so we're just going to be faking it ?

Korra: just until he comes around

Opal: oh my god yes but we need to make rules and plans

Korra: okay Opal how about you make all the rules and plans and we just follow them

Opal: I'm going to write stuff down and we can talk about them at your place

Korra: sound good to me

Asami: I guess I'm in

I'm really hoping this works, I can't bear to see him walking in the halls and wanting to kiss him. Once school ended the girls and I walked back to my place and we sat on my bed as Opal started telling us the plan and how it'll work.

Opal: okay so the only way this could work is that you guys really need to act like a couple

Asami: that going to be easy, girls naturally act gay

Opal: yeah we do but we need more

Korra: more ?

Asami: like what ?

Opal: example when Korra and Mako were dating what would they do ?

Asami: Ew kiss in the hallway making everyone feel uncomfortable

Opal: exactly you guys need to kiss, hold hands, put your arms around each other.

Korra: wait kiss ?

Opal: stop acting like a kid it's just to get mako jealous you need this to seem real

Asami: what else ?

Opal: you guys have to go to any high school party or trips together and just be cute, and well we're already friends so we always hang out but you guys need to go dates

Asami: dates ?

Opal: yes dates, god you guys need to make it believable. So when you go on dates take pictures, post them or even record cute stuff and put them on your stories.

Korra: Oh so Mako can see

Opal: nice job genius did you just figure that out

Korra: hey you don't need to be so mean

Asami: so for how long do we keep it up

Korra: I'll say till the school's Cruise trip, Mako and I were supposed to go together but ...

Asami: that's until April

Opal: it's only 7months but if it doesn't work then you guys break up

Korra: okay sounds like a plan

I was nervous to act like I was dating Asami i guess because I was worried that it won't work ? Or maybe because Opal said we have to kiss... I've never kissed a girl before I mean the only person I've kissed was Mako and that's it. I was actually thinking about giving him all my firsts, but he ended everything before I  could do so. Tomorrow Asami and I are going to be walking into school together holding hands and kissing each other good bye so people can actually by it since girls always hold each other's hands. If this works, word is gonna go around and Mako will fine out soon enough that I'm dating Asami.
