"Get back to work everyone!" I yelled

It's been a couple days now since the funeral. I have been still drowning in grief. Right now, I feel like I'm on the anger stage. Yea, I've been getting extremely mad at small reasons but I just can't help it, those words that Aldora said to me, it just keeps playing in my head on repeat.

The guilt that's already there just becomes even more with her voice saying those words on repeat in my head. I just wish it had a switch, so that I can turn it off.

Then, I remembered that Joseph had something that he wanted to talk about with me. I wonder what it is. Maybe, I should give him a call later. Fix up a meeting or something? I'll think about that later.

Right now, apart from the guilt, the other thing that's pissing me off is The Royal Mafia! Ever since they killed my brother, they just didn't stop there. They have busted our deals, put police on our trail and managed to get us caught up in unnecessary gunfights.

"Adonis, we can't do the deal today." Liam, my second in command said

"Let me guess, cops on our our trail again?" I asked

"This time, it's not on us." Liam answered

"Then, what's the problem?" I asked, skeptical

"It's on the trail of the other party. It seems that the cops have been trying to find out more evidence on them and a source told them about this deal." Liam informed

"Does this source happen to be...?" I asked leaving it incomplete

"No. It's not The Royal Mafia this time." Liam said

"Alright." I said

"We did successfully complete the other deal." Liam informed

"That's good." I replied

"Hey, Joseph called earlier." Liam said

"What for?" I asked

"He was asking if you have any time for a meeting. He said that he wanted to discuss something with you." Liam replied

"Oh, right! He had mentioned it on the day of the funeral but said that it can wait a little." I nodded remembering

"I think it's about the marriage of her daughter." Liam said

"What are you talking about?" I asked narrowing my eyes at Liam in a scary glare kind of a way.

"First off, stop trying to scare me. I've known you since we were babies, you don't scare me. Second off, Joseph has been talking to a lot of people about marrying his eldest daughter." Liam said rolling his eyes

"Why?" I asked

"To tame her. She doesn't listen, has a very sharp tongue and is extremely disrespectful." Liam stated

"Seems like a spoilt brat." I said

"Yea, but she's also very strong." Liam shrugged

"What use is it if she going to disrespect me?" I asked rhetorically

"I guess. What should I tell Joseph?" Liam sighed

"Call him today for that meeting if he has time." I said

"Alright." Liam said leaving

Liam came back later to tell me that Joseph will be arriving in an hour or so. I did some paperwork while waiting. It's not like I had much to do today.

Joseph arrived an hour later. My men led him to my office. I told him to take a seat and ordered some food.

"What can I do for you?" I asked
