Lexa's POV

Tonight I was taking Clarke out. I wouldn't let her stay alone so she's been staying with me since we got back. It's only been a few days since we left, Clarke's doing well. The only requirement was for me to leave the apartment while she got ready, I hated the idea but after much debating we came to an agreement. I could stay at the bar downstairs and she would text me every so often to let me know she was ok.

"Go," she shoved me towards the door after I finished getting ready.

"Fine but you better respond to me text or I will be kicking this door down."

"Jeez lex, give me at least 10 minutes before you do that."

"Ok, ok," I give her a quick kiss before leaving the apartment and walking to the bar below me. I pull out my phone as soon as I get there to send her a text.

Clarkie ❤️

{6:13} Lexa: I miss you.

{6:13} Clarke: You're a dork

{6:14} Lexa: But you love me

{6:14} Clarke: You're right but now you get to sit there while I go shower. Have fun

{6:15} Lexa: Evil

{6:15} Clarke: :)

I put my phone down and ordered a drink. I didn't want to have to much but I needed something to calm my nerves. I don't know why I'm so nervous, it's just a date. A date with the most beautiful, amazing girl, that I'm gonna marry some day. I finished my drink and moments later received another text from Clarke.

{6:31}Clarke: Don't worry, you can relax now.

{6:31} Lexa: I've been relaxed this entire time.

{6:32}Clarke: I see the empty drink sitting next to you, meaning you are a little bit nervous.

I don't even respond to that text and look up to see Clarke standing by the entrance. She looks amazing, her short hair just reaching her neck, just enough make to make her eyes pop. A black dress sitting above her knees. I don't waste another second and make my way over her.

"Just... wow," is all I can muster out.

"Wow yourself," she smiles and leans in for a quick peck on the lips.

"You already saw me."

"But still," she kisses me again.

"You ready?" She nods her head and I put my hand out for her to hold. She places her fingers in mine before we start walking towards the restaurant.  We joked around on the way until we finally came to a stops outside a restaurant called, Eligus.

"Reservation at 7 for woods," I say walking up to the desk.

"Oh yes, follow me," she leads us to a table for two. I pull out Clarke's chair for her and she smiles at me while I take a seat in my own.

"What Looks good?" I ask.

"Everything," we laugh and I glance over the menu before deciding on a pasta. The waiter came with some water before we ordered our food and a bottle of wine. I stared to feel Clarke's foot rub up and down my leg slightly. She's knows what she's exactly trying to do, and it's working.

"This is a great location for a restaurant," I try and distract myself.

"Yes it it," she smiles as I gulp and take a long sip of my water.

"Honestly, I would live to open my own restaurant one day."

"And I think you should, you are an amazing cook. One thing, I want to be there opening night." I smile and remember the night I first cooked for Clarke. It was a pizza with my homemade pizza curst and she fell absolutely in love.

"I would love for you to be there. Maybe even work with me?"

"I'd love that," She smiles once again, god I love her smile, though it's not helping my situation. He foot still rubbing up and down my leg lightly and discreetly.

Finally our food is placed down in front of us. We eat in comfortable silence he foot finally leaving my leg, but I'm sure it'll be back shortly.

"Can I get you any dessert?" the waiter ask as she comes by to collect our dishes.

"No, just a check," I say almost hurriedly.

"Ok, I'll be back with that in a moment." She rushes over and returns just as quick. I pay and pull out Clarke's chair for her before heading towards the door. I flag down a cab  knowing I couldn't make an entire walk.

"Someone's in a hurry," I hear Clarke say as we get in the cab.

"Yeah and who's fault is that."

"I don't know what your talking about," she teases. Her hand placed strategically on my thigh.

"I would suggest moving that down a little," I whisper into her ear.

"Or what?" She's asked innocently. God could this cab be any slower.
