Waking up the next morning an alarm clock that Akaashi must of set, you opened your eyes to see the sun poking in threw your window.

You looked over to Akaashi who was still fast sleep and reached over to the phone to turn off the alarm.

You watched your boyfriend breath easily as he slept, feeling a bit jealous but thankful that he is healthy.

After a minute you leaned over to kiss his cheek.
"Good morning." You smiled.

His eyes fluttered open and he smiled a bit.
"Morning.." He then yawned.

You went to sit up but Akaashi's arm wrapped around your body and pulled you back down.
"Not today darling, let's take one more day."

"But Keiji? You have to go to class, I don't wanna see you fail or get kicked out of the university.."

He groaned. "They'd be heartless if they did that...I'm taking care of my partner."

You rolled your eyes as you started to run your fingers through his hair.

"Well..at least we should wake Bo up.. He still has class too..." You said.

Akaashi let go of your waisted so you could sit back up again.
You knew that'd work. Bokuto was a weak spot with Akaashi.

You stood up slowly, making sure you didn't get a head rush and leaned over to Bokuto and started to shake him.

"No mommy." He mumbled.

You held back a smile.

"Bo time to get up." You shook him more.

"Mommmmmy pweeese!"

"Bokuto.." You said as you shook him even more.

"Five more minutes mommmmy!" He rolled over and hugged his pillow tight. You could see the drool stain on the pillow.

"Bokuto-San!" Akaashi said quite loudly.

In an instant he was up.
"What time is it?"

You stood straight up and crossed your arms.
"I see how it is.. So you answer to Akaashi but not me?"

Bokuto ran a hand through his hair as he yawned.
"But agasshi scares me.. You don't."

You chuckled as you ruffled his hair.
"It's okay, I can see who your favorite is."

Bokuto's eyes widened as he tried to explain himself.

You laughed it off.
"I'm just teasing Bo, but seriously, you have class and need to get ready."

"What about Akaashi?"

You looked over to see him smiling with his eyes slightly open.

"Oh he's going to class too."

His smile dropped as he groaned and threw the blankets over top of him.

Bokuto stood up from his bed, giving out a good stretch.
"Are you going to class?"

You shook your head. "No, I'm gonna take one more day to catch up on the homework and emails."

"Oh okay...um..message me through the day if you get bored, I'll come by after classes okay!" Bokuto smiled.

You nodded as he took his leave out the door.
You turned to Akaashi who was still under the covers.

"I know, I'm getting up." He moaned.

You smiled as you looked down at your tank, you noticed it was time to change.

"Um Keiji?"

He poked his head out and raised an eyebrow.

"Can you help me?" You asked pointing to your tank.

He immediately got up and sat on the bed.
"What can I do?" He asked.

You grabbed a tank and sat beside him.
"All you have to do is switch out the tubes. I would do it but since holding my breath and trying to do that is hard, I was hoping you could help and get it done quick?"

He nodded as he took the tube in his hand.
"Ready?"

You took in a deep breath threw your nose as he unscrewed your tube and quickly attached it to the other tank.

You felt a gust of new oxygen through your nose as you let out your breath.

You coughed for a minute but it was bad, more if someone had a tickle and needed to get it out.

"Thank you Keiji.. I'm sorry.."

He leaned over and kissed your cheek. "Don't be sorry darling, if you ever need help don't hesitate to ask okay?"

You nodded.

He then kissed your forehead as he stood up and stretched.

"I guess I'll see you after my classes okay? If you're feeling up to it, I'd like to take you out on a date later?"

"A date?"

He smiled and hummed in response.
"Don't worry, it's nothing too big, I'll see you later okay? Take it easy and if you need anything, just call me."

You nodded with a small smile.
He then took his leave and left you alone.

Once you knew for sure that he was down the hallway a bit you let out your cough for real this time.
Choking on air as you coughed more and more.
It was dry and hurt like a bitch but you couldn't hold it back anymore.

About five minutes later you finally were able to breath steady again.
You could hear the slight wheezing in your breathes as you huffed.

This sucks..

🍂🍂🍂

Your day consisted of going through your emails and messaging all your teachers about what happened, although they seemed to of already of known thanks to your mother calling the school and telling them.
You then also got what you needed for homework and you also started on a late assignment that you were lucky granted an extension for.

The day was tiring and your eyes started to sting from staring at you lap top all day.
You thought It'd be a good time to take a break and rest.

You pulled out your phone to see a missed message from Yakeru.

Yakeru😜: You okay?

Bigsis😋: Yes I'm okay.

Yakeru😜: Mom told me what the doctors said... I don't want you to die..

Your heart skipped a beat as you kept reading his message over and over again.

Bigsis😋: I know.. But life like to throw you a curve call every so often and you just had to embrace the impact, but as for now, I plan to make the best of it. Please don't worry about me right now and keep your head up for the twins.

Yakeru😜: I know. Also could you come to the interhigh preliminaries? It's in a few months and I was wondering if you'd come?

Bigsis😋: I'll be there. I'll be cheering you on in the stands and I'll even bring Bokuto and Akaashi to cheer for you as well.

Yakeru😜: Thanks y/n, means a lot.

Bigsis😋: I love you kid, tell Ena and Kane that I love them too. I gotta go, got lots of homework to catch up on.

Yakeru😜: Will do. Love you too.

You set your phone down on your lap as you looked out your window, you watched the students walk around and the wind blowing in the trees.
Your mind wandered to many places, but most importantly, you wished nothing more but happiness for everyone in your life for when you're no longer with them.
You hoped that they'd move on and smile.
To not dwell on your death as you didn't want that.
