today i went back to school with a smile plastered on my face because i have become a master in showing a smile that was fake you were sitting next to heather again laughing away when you noticed my presence and you got up faster than the speed of light to approach me and say i didn't know you were coming today i am sorry i didn't accompany you you apologized for ditching me as i had walked towards school all alone although i was secretly happy you did because old habits die hard but you eventually need to let go of them it's okay i was late anyway i smiled and passed it on to heather as well who joined our little conversation and smiled back at me just as expected i still felt bitter but a little better i think it's a little progress cause you guys offered me to sit along with you during recess at least you haven't pushed me off completely that's the only thing i fear having pieces of you is still better than not having you at all and when school ended you started leaving with me but i turned around and saw heather lonely it's alright jungkook go home with him instead we've shared routes all the time i am used to being with you all the time but i am trying to let go of this habit of mine because the longer you stay the more i lose myself bit by bit you gave me half a smile as if you were both guilty and happy at the same time i gave you a reassuring smile and proceeded to go on my own it is a little progress indeed
