Day 6
Genre: Horror/Paranormal
Prompt: Santa Claus is real but he's nothing like you imagined.
What is Horror/Paranormal Fiction?
Horror stories are designed to evoke fear, fascination, or revulsion in the reader. This is done either through supernatural elements or psychological circumstances. Werewolves, vampires, zombies, ghosts, and monsters are common in horror stories, as well as people who are considered crazy and are bent on the harm of others. Horror stories feed on basic human emotions, eliciting sympathy and dread whenever possible.
Books in the paranormal fiction genre are set in the real world, but they include experiences that defy scientific explanation. For example, stories set on earth that include things like angels, demons, ghosts, psychics, vampires, etc. [Book Genre Dictionary - Horror / Paranormal]Please ensure you read the Rules & Regulations here before entering.
