Proverbs 1:19 (NLT)
[19] Such is the fate of all who are greedy for gain. It ends up robbing them of life.
To spend your time trying to get more works against you not for you. This type of greed speaks to an unbelief in God's ability to not only supply what you need, but to determine when and what you need. The greed for more stuff highlights ones need to find significance in their stuff! Are you finding your importance in your stuff instead? The stuff will rob you of life.
1. Trust God. 2. Question your motives. What am I trying to gain. 3. Seek to benefit others. 4. Accept God's acceptance of you.
