First day of junior high

(Tobio's POV)

"Bye mama!"

"Bye king, hurry up your fathers in the car already!"

"Oh okay see you after school!" I shout.

I hurry to the car where papa is already there.

"Let's go" papa spoke smiling.

I get into the car trying to calm myself, then I remembered something.

"STOP!!" I shout making my father slam on the breaks. I get out the car after 5 minutes I come back running.

"Tobio! You could've gotten hurt, why did you scream?!" He said angrily but was concerned on why I screamed.

"Sorry papa, I forgot my Miwa" I said pointing to my hair clip smiling.

"Okay next time don't run out the car when I'm backing out of the driveway okay?" He asked

"Okay I promise!" I say.

\20 minutes later/

"Bye king have a nice day at school" my father said smiling.

"I will bye." I replied cheerfully.

"Don't forget about your guitar lessons after school!" He said as I am leaving to the front gate.

"I didn't! Mama said she is gonna pick me up!" I said while waving goodbye.

I reached the entrance to the school but was stopped by two people.

"Hey 'king'" one of them said his head was spiked up like an onion.

"E-excuse me?"

"We heard what your dad called you" the other said.

"Oh... uhh" I replied trying to think of something to tell them so they wouldn't make fun of me.

"Don't worry king we're friends now so don't worry" he said with a smile.

"Friends?" I asked

"Yeah!" The other one said excisedly but his face expression stayed the same. (Calm and bored was his face expression)

"I'm Yūtarō Kindaichi, and this is Akira Kunimi my soulmate!" He said

"Soulmate! Cool. When did you guys meet!?" I asked. I always had adored people who had found their soulmates. Walking into the school next to my new friends.

"We met at elementary school, wanna see our marks?" Kindaichi asked.

"Oo can I?!" I asked excitedly while walking up the stairs.

"Yeah" Kunimi replied.

They lifted their sleeves to their uniforms and it reviled a sun and moon. It was half and half that made up a whole, but the the thing is that they didn't have one half on each side.

"Woah that's so cool!" I said amazed.

"Yeah I know right!" Kindaichi said with a proud look on his face.

"I think it goes well with our relationship don't you think so babe?" Kindaichi said while looking at his lover.

"Yeah whatever." Kunimi spoke unamused but he had a smile on his face.

"You see Kunimi doesn't like people who are loud but he still puts up with me!" Kindaichi said happily while wrapping his arm around his boyfriend.

"Yeah but keep getting on my nerves and let's see what happens." Kunimi said staring at Kindaichi with an evil look but not so threatening.

"Aww look king he's trying to look threatening." Kindaichi laughed while squishing his boyfriends cheeks.

"Have you found your soulmate yet?" Kunimi asked trying to get his boyfriends hands off his face.

"No not yet" I said smiling.

"Oh can we see your mark?" Kindaichi asked taking his hands off his lovers face and wanting to see my mark.

"Yeah s-" I was cut off

"You can show each other your marks later your gonna be late for class!" A voice from behind said in a stern voice.

I looked to see where the voice was coming from then looked back at the others who had the same facial expression as me shocked and scared of being late for class on the first day!!

"Goodbye king see you at lunch!! Meet you back here at lunch okay!" Kindaichi yelled while running to class with Kunimi.

I started running also trying to get to class before the bell rang. Just before the bell rang I got to class panting and sitting near the window in the middle row of class.

~lunch~

I head back to the spot where Kindaichi told me to meet them at lunch time.

"Hey guys!" I said happily.

"Hey king" both of them replied.

Shook on how they new my nickname then remembered they heard papa calling me that, then remembering if I told them my actual name or not.

"My name is Tobio Kageyama actually"

"Tobio Kageyama? Hmmm I think we'll stick with king when it's just the three of us okay?" Kindaichi asked.

"Okay" i replied happily.

"Are you guys going to be joining any sports? I asked hoping they would be joining the same sport as me while opening the door to the outside to sit under a tree.

"Yeah we are going to be joining volleyball how about you?" Kunimi said with a smile on his face.

"Really awesome I'm joining volleyball too!" I said laughing

"Nice, oh I just remembered how does your mark look like?" Kindaichi asked.
His and Kunimi's attention shifted to me.

"O-oh yeah! Here" I said lifting both of my sleeves to show my mark, and putting my wrists together.

"Wow" was all Kindaichi and Kunimi could say.

"So how do you think it's gonna look like when you meet your soulmate?" Kunimi asked still looking at my mark.

"I'm not sure but I'm positive that the cherry blossoms will be pink I'm not so sure about the humming bird though" I replied looking at my mark.

"What do you think your soulmates mark is?" Kindaichi asked.

"I'm not sure I never really put that much thought into it." I replied

"Oh why not?" Kunimi asked

"I'm not sure... I usually payed attention to other people's marks I've never really tried to guess what was my soulmates mark was" I replied. Realizing I've never really questioned my soulmates mark was.

"Hmm oh well hope you find him or her soon" Kindaichi replied.

We talked on and on about our soulmates and talking about how we could meet our volleyball team at the end of the week. Soon lunch time was over and then so was school.

"Hey king!" I heard a voice from behind while running to the front gate.

"Oh hey Yūtarō" stopping to let him catch up.

"Here is mine and Akira's phone number, so we can talk later" Kindaichi said with a smile.

"Thank y-" I was cut off by a honking noise.

"KING LETS GO OR WE'RE GONNA BE LATE!" I heard my mama shouting.

"I'm sorry yutaro but I need to go!" I said while running to the car.

"THANK YOU BY THE WAY!" I yelled trying to get into the car.
