CHAPTER 10

"Bakit namumutla ka?" tanong ni Bea pagkarating ko sa cafeteria. She looked at me wondering while holding his fork that have an spaghetti.

I just give her a force smile before i sit infront of her. Binaba nito ang hawak na tinidor at tinignan ako ng mabuti.

"Hey tell me. May nangyari ba?" She looks worried. I immediately shook my head. Hindi na niya kailangan pang malaman 'yun. Even bea is my bestfriend. It's still not my story to tell.

"You looked pale. So i assume that something bad happened. Masama lang ba ang pakiramdam mo? Gusto mo samahan kita sa clinic?"

"No it's okay. I can handle myself." I smiled "By the way kanina kapa dito? Pumunta ako sa classroom baka nandoon ka pero wala naman. Kaya dito na ako dumiretso"

Bea didn't convinced of my answer. But she let the topic go. She really know how to stop her curiosity. Kahit gustong gusto nito iyun malaman. Alam parin nito ang limitasyon.

"Yea, dito ako dumiretso nung hiramin ka ni keiran. Kanina pa kasi ako nagugutom. I didn't eat my breakfast because dad is really annoying"

I laughed because of her frustation face. Medyo gumaan ang loob ko dahil sa mukha ni Bea. She's the only one i have for a family. My mother died and i don't have a father either.

Kahit na wala akong nakikitang bangkay ni mama. Pinipilit ko nalang ang sarili ko na hindi na umasa. If she's alive she will show herself to me. It's been a years since it happened. So i already lost my hope.

"Ano ba kasi ang ginagawa ng papa mo dahilan para mainis ka?" I ask. Her face fell. Sigurado akong may hindi pagkakaintindihan ang mag-ama.

"He wants me to settle in arranged marriage. I'm still young for that kind of thing. Pero gusto niya agad na makasal ako once na makatapos sa pag-aaral"

I looked at her. Mukhang pinagsakluban ito ng langit at lupa. I sighed. Wala akong ibang magawa para kay Bea kundi manatili sa tabi nito. Her father are had a lots of connection. Lahat ng gusto ng ama nito ay nasusunod.

But i still hope that Bea could convince her father. Marami pang pangarap si Bea. And her father loves her so much. Maybe she can still convince her.

"Tara na Dawn. Mauna na tayo sa classroom. The class will about to start in a minute." Tumayo na ito at kinuha ang bag bago ako binalingan. I nodded silently before i stand up and follow her.

Nakarating na kami sa harap ng classroom. Pagpasok namin ay may ilan ilan na rin ang nasa loob. They looked at me with disgusting face, like i do a unforgivable sin. I sighed.

I hurt reign, yes. But this is unexpected. Si reign naman ang nauna. Pero bakit mas tinitignan nila ako na parang ako ang suspek? This treatment is really unfair.

Is this because reign is famous?

"Hayaan mo na sila" Hinatak na ako ni Bea papasok at uupo na sana ito sa sariling upuan ng agad ko itong hinatak.

"Bakit?" She asked. I took a deep breathe before i speak. I hope she's fine with it. It's just temporary.

"Can we exchange seat? Temporary lang naman. Medyo hindi kasi ako komportable sa upuan ko" I bit my lower lip. She looked at me suspiciously now. She raised her both eyebrows before she sighed and held my hand.

"I now confirmed it. There's something happened between you and Keiran. Pero kung ano man 'yun. Always remember that i'm just here okay? You can tell me your problems anytime"

I smiled as i nodded. I'm really lucky that i have Bea Astrid Galvez as my bestfriend. Kapatid na ang turing ko dito. She's the only one i have for a family.

Ngumiti rin saakin si Bea bago ito lumipat sa pwesto ng inuupuan ko. Lumipat na rin ako sa upuan ni Bea at doon umupo. The girls beside me immediately distance themselves after i sit. But i choose to ignore it.

Ilang minuto lang din ng pumasok ang prof namin. Kasama nito si Keiran na walang emosyon ang mukha. His brows furrowed when he saw Bea sit beside him.

Nagtataka siguro ito kung bakit si Bea ang nasa pwesto ko. He glanced at my direction and his eyes met mine. He had that mask all over his face whenever he looked at me.

Ako na ang unang umiwas ng tingin at itinuon nalang ang atensyon sa harapan. The prof greet us first before he started his lesson.

Pero patungkol lamang ito sa mga gagawin by fair. He give us instructions about what we gonna do with our partner. Mataas na marka ang makukuha namin sa project na ito.

I note what the prof said about the project, not minding the intense stare that i can feel since earlier. Even it's making me uncomfortable. I can't do anything about it.

"So we will now pronounce the partners" tinignan ng prof ang mga pangalan namin sa isang papel. I can feel my classmate excitement. Kasi lalaki at babae ang mag papartner. That's why.

"Hershel and Anthony" agad na tumayo ang tinawag at lumapit sa partner nito.

"Claire and Kiel"

"Bea Astrid and Third" the prof said and the partner by partner goes on. Nilalaro ko ang ballpen na hawak habang hinihintay na matawag ang pangalan ko at magiging partner ko.

"Ayesha Dawn and Seiji" tumayo na ako pati narin ang partner kong may suot ng malaking glass. Great, mukhang mas mapapadali ang paggawa ng project dahil ang magiging kapartner ko ay nerd.

Pupunta na sana saakin ang partner ko ng may magtaas ang kamay. And my brows furrowed when i saw Keiran raised his hands. What is he gonna do again?

"I refused. I should be the one to have a partner with Dawn." He slid his one hand inside his pocket while looking straightly on our professor. Napatingin ang mga kaklase ko saakin. And they stare at me sharply, some are rolled their eyes.

"Sorry Mr. Crimson. But i already paired Dawn to Seiji. Magugulo ang pag papartner kung magpapalit pa." Our prof said it politely.

I sighed because of relieved. Akala ko ay makakasama ko ulit si Keiran. I already planned to avoid him as much as i can. Mabuti nalang at sinabi 'yun ng professor namin.

"Just follow what i said Sir" Keiran said it with an intimidating aura. Nagugulat ang iba sa tinuran nito, ang iba naman ay napatili.

I looked at keiran and i saw something glint in his eyes. Tell me that i'm wrong. Wala naman siyang ginagawa diba? I glance to our prof and i can see how he stilled. And a couple of second, he slightly nodded.

Damn. Hindi ko alam kung bakit bigla nagbago ang desisyon ng prof namin. What happened? Is this because of Keiran? But he's just a vampire. And a ordinary vampire don't have a super powers.

Keiran smirked before he sit back on his chair. Nakita ko ang pag aalalang tingin ni Bea saakin mula sakanyang kinauupuan. I'm screwed. My plan to avoid him are already ruined.

But i can escape. But i need to sacrifice my remarks if i scape in Keiran. Damn, this is really hard. I already tell to myself that i will avoid him. Pero hindi na nangyari 'yun dahil siya na ang magiging ka partner ko.

Kahit nanghihina man ay pinilit ko padin umupo. I can hear my classmates gossiping behind my back. Pero wala akong magagawa doon. Especially Keiran made a mess.

I feel the set of eyes again. Unconsciously, i looked at Keiran who's playing with his lips while watching at me intently.

I know that's stare. Stare that he gonna do something to me.
