Chapter 6

Ace's PoV

"You can handle yourself! Bakit kita sasamahan eh matanda kana? Aunt naman eh. Mabobored lang ako duon!" I shouted but she only raised her eyebrows.

"Sasama ka sa akin. You won't be distinguished dahil mag didisguise ka. Pinagpaalam na kita sa mama mo. I want you to meet Chanel, the heiress of Lin Group. Maganda siya, mayaman at mabait. A perfect candidate to be a crown princess!" Striktong sabi niya.

My face crumpled in disgust. "I don't plan on marrying, Aunt. Flings lang muna ako. It's fine if I rule without a queen!" Reklamo ko.

"As if you have another choice. You're a royal. The crown prince to be exact. You need a queen. Sasama ka sa akin and it's final. Thus, maraming chics duon. It's a birthday party, Ace. Not a royal gathering." She said.

"Okay, fine. As long as hindi nila ako makikilala at hindi ako ma-bobored." Wala din naman akong gagawin.

She grinned from ear to ear. "Trust me, you won't."

NAG-SUOT ako ng long-sleeve button up top and slacks. The stylist just finished doing my wig. Pogi parin ako kahit naka-disguise ako. Syempre, ako ang susunod na hari kaya dapat lang. Ganda kaya ng lahi namin.

"Aunt, hindi pa dumadating sina mom at dad?" I said while putting on my rolex.

"Bukas pa daw o sa makalawa. Delayed ang flight ng mga majesties dahil sa bagyo sa England." sabi niya habang tumitingin sa salamin.

Bakit pa kasi sila bumalik duon? Pwede namang kay Rupert muna ipapa-manage ang kingdom. Na-stranded pa tuloy sila.

"Nagpaalam nadin ako kay Captain. May guards padin pero hindi mo sila makikita. They're around us to make sure of your safety."

Tsk. I'm used to it.

"Let's go, Aunt Leanne."

Sumakay kami sa kotse at nagpahatid sa mansyon ng mga Lin. Pumasok kami and we were greeted by the staffs and maids. Aunt was also greeted by her friends.

The mansion is well decorated. Maganda ang reception at may class. The waiters and staffs are also well dressed. It's cozy.

"Lucia! Hi!" Aunt called while smiling.

"Oh, hi Leahne! I'm glad you came!" bati ng isang middle aged lady na pula ang buhok.
Nag-beso sila ni Aunt.

"How are you, Lucia? Where's Chanel?" Nakangiting tanong niya.

"Oh, she's with her friends at the pool."

"Our gift is on the car. Ipakukuha ko lang yun mamaya. Is that okay?"

"Of course. Nag-abala ka pa."

Ngiti lang ang sinagot ni Aunt. Tsk. I think I'm being forgotten here.

"Who's this young man?" Tanong ni Lucia kay Aunt habang nakatingin sa akin.

"Ah! This is my niece, Ace. Ace dear, greet Ms. Lucia." Aunt asked me.

"Good evening, lady. I'm Ace Santiago. It's nice to meet you." sabi ko sabay halik sa kamay niya.

"It's nice to meet you too. I'm Lucia Lin. I would like you to meet my daughter. I think magkakasundo kayo." Ngumiti siya.

"Aunt, Lucia, I want to roam around. Is it okay?"

"Sure. Enjoy yourself." said Lucia.

"Don't go too far away or you'll be lost." Parang bata na sabi sa akin ni Aunt.

Inirapan ko lang siya saka humiwalay sa kanila. I looked for the pool. I might find something interesting there.

I wandered around and it was long for me to realize that I was lost. Hindi ko na alam kung saan ang daan pabalik. Fuck, I messed up. Lumakad ako ulit at nakita kong dumaan ang isang babae na naka-suot ng dress na blue. I'm not sure I saw her face but I find her posture and movement weird. Teka, babae? A girl is wandering here?
