harry didn't know how to feel about the letter, but there was no doubt in his mind that the was gonna meet malfoy, even though he had no idea what he wanted. as much as he didn't want to admit it to himself, he was actually excited about meeting him in the astronomy tower. he knew it wasn't going to be something romantic, malfoy wasn't gay, and even if he was, he hated harry. the thought of that made harry's eyes water. just knowing malfoy wouldn't feel the same way he did. not in a million years.
-draco couldn't ignore his own excitement. he was going to get harry by himself, and this time it would different. no violence. draco was dead set on apologizing to potter, if it was the last thing he ever did. draco contemplated telling harry how he felt, but he wasn't even completely sure if he did feel that way towards him. and that's when he got his brilliant idea.
he would kiss him. its the only way. "if i like it, then that's that" he thought, "and if not, i'll threaten his fucking life if he even thinks about telling anyone". that settled it. he was going to kiss him, harry potter himself, whether he likes it or not. "if only i could get through this day"
