Chapter 13

"Hey, Ad- I mean Dad," I say as I walk into his office.

"Hi, Hun. What's up?" He answered looking up from his papers.

"So, I wanted you to meet my Brother and Sister. We may not be blood-related but they are still very much my Brother and Sister." I say grabbing Gems' and Rowes' hands. 

"Is that so?" Dad muttered out.

"Yes, it is. And I would appreciate it if you treated Gem and Rowe like your Son and Daughter. And that they move in when I do. Please?" I plead

Dad walked up to Gem and looked him up and down. "Do you have a mate boy?" He asked

"No sir. It is just me" Gem responded

Dad then looked to Rowe and again looked her up and down. "Do you have a mate dear?" He asked again.

"No sir. It is just me as well." Rowe answered

"Well, then. If you are treating my Daughter like she should be treated and as a brother and sister should treat and care for their sister, then, well. I have no reason to say no. You move in, in one week." He said sitting back down at his desk.

I looked at Gem and back to Rowe. I then jumped into Gems' arms smiling and laughing.

"Julie. The other thing.." Gem said putting me down.

"Oh yes. Dad? One more thing." I said turning back towards my dad. 

"Yes?" He said furrowing his eyebrows 

"Well. As you know, I am very connected and close to my Packs. Both of them. And well. Jaden's Pack and My pack do not want to leave me. After the kidnapping, they all have become very protective of me. And well. We were wondering, that since the territory that both packs share is only one hour from here," I said looking back to Gem.

"Continue," My dad said.

"Well. I was thinking that maybe we could build a Packhouse for them here. You know, so they could come and stay anytime they want. What do you think about that?" Just saying that made my hands shake. What if he says no. "Surely, you know I would go back to the pack. I will not stay here unless they can come and go as they please."

"Well, If it means that you will have more people protecting you and that you are happy, then I guess it is ok. I don't see a reason that it would not be ok." 

"Wait, Really," I said

"Yes. Of course. I just got you back. I am going to do anything to keep you from being kidnapped again. and If that means having 2 packs come and go as they please so they can protect you, that I am ok with that." He said writing something down on a piece of paper. 

"YAY! Thank you thank you thank you!" I scream and I run over to him and pull him into a hug. 

He stood up and hugged me back. "Anything for you" I let go and ran over to Gem and jumped in his arms, with Rowe jumping on his back.

"We did it, Guys! We did it!" I yelled 

"Yeah. We did. Now come on, Let go I can't breathe." He laughed. 

I let go turned back to my Dad and smiled. He smiled back at me before saying "Here. Take this to Coda. Tell him I sent you ok? And Gem, Rowe?" 

"Yes sir," They said at the same time

"Please call me Adam. And go with her, please. I don't want her going anywhere alone." Gem nodded and with a thank you, we walked off.
