(6 YEARS LATER)

JASMINE

"Jahking, can you sit still and let me finish?" I asked Jahking and he smiled looking at me in the mirror. I was busy braiding his hair before we head out to lunch with our family's.

I slept over at his place last night. And no, we didn't do anything.

"But I'm still." He said and moved his head again.

"Jahking, put your phone down. You can do all that later." I said and slapped his hand making him laugh.

"Damn, alright ma." He whined and I finished the last braid. It was singles. I moved away from him and put away the products and hair tools and all that.

"Damn mami, you can really work your boys hair." Jahking said and hugged me from behind.

"Yeah whatever. Boy move away from me." I said as he kissed my neck. He laughed and I moved away. I walked out of the bathroom and into the bedroom. The bathroom is connected to the room in case you were wondering.

"Baby?"

"Yeah?" I picked up my jordans and looked up at Jahking who was leaning against the wall staring at me. "What are you looking at?" I asked smiling and he shook his head.

"Nothing. Can't I look at my girl?" He said and licked his lip.

"Boy, you know that's not what I meant." I said and sat down to put on my shoes.

"I wonder what our baby's would look like." He said and I looked up at him with my eyebrows slightly raised. I blinked various times before continuing to put on my shoes.

"If we have a girl, she is gonna look just like you." I got up and walked over to him.

"Jahking, are you okay?" I asked with concern in my voice. He is worrying me because, where is all this baby talk coming from? I felt all over his face.

"What are you doing?" He laughed and moved my hand over from his face taking it into his hand.

"I'm fine. I was just saying-"

"You were saying nothing, Jahking." I said and walked to the  nightstand and picked up my phone. He can't just be talking about baby's. I have my reasons. I picked up my jacket from the bed and put it on. Jahking was fully dressed and I always had to be the last to be dressed, not always but... you get my point.

"Babe?" I looked at Jahking and walked over. He put his hands on my waist and I waited patiently.

"You know I love you, right?" He asked and I nodded. " I love you too." I said and he kissed my lips.

"Alright, let's go." He said letting me go. I blinked in confusion before grabbing his arm and stopping him.

"Wait, that's it? That's all you had to say?" I asked and he nodded looking around the room.

"Yeah. Let's go before we are late." He said and I looked at my watch. Damnit. We're already late.

"Shoot, we're already late. Mom is gonna flip." I said grabbing his hand and walking out the room.

"Alright. Why in such a hurry?" He asked and we skipped down the stairs.

"Listen, you know I love my mom very much but I can't deal with her lectures." I whined and he laughed.

Jahking and I climbed out of the car at the same time. I looked at my mom who was waiting for us at the entrance of the the restaurant.
