"Kanato sweetie can I come in?" Eleanor asked
"Yes Mama!" Kanato answered
"How's my little sweetie pie?" Eleanor asked kissing Kanato's cheeks hugging him gently
"I'm good, I already showered and dresssed" Kanato said gazing sadly at the floor
"What's wrong sweetie?" Eleanor asked
"Mama how come mother won't notice me unless I sing?" Kanato asked staring blankly at me, "everytime I sing she has a satisfies face but when I finish she goes back to whatever she was doing. Why can't mother hug me and congratulate me for singing like you do?"
"That's a question I do not have an answer to. I'm sorry but the truth is I do not know the answer, but even if I don't know the answer I will always try to make sure that you are loved even if I am not your biological mother, I will still give it my all to show that I love you more than anything" Eleanor answered smiling at Kanato when speaking her last words, "Kanato how about we have a slumber party tomorrow with all your brothers?"
"Yes Mama it will be fun!" Kanato said smiling brightly up at me
"Alright let's tuck you in" Eleanor said draping the covers over Kanato kissing his forehead before blowing out the torch and the heading out.
