A/N: I AM SO SORRY FOR THE LATE UPDATE, I HAVE BEEN SO STUCK, WRITING WISE AND WITH THE HOLIDAYS IN FULL SWING,  IT MAKES IT HARD TO WRITE. I AM SO SORRY, I HOPE TO BE BACK ON A REGULAR SCHEDULE SOON.

Your night was filled with a sleepless slumber- you couldn't help but think about George and his whereabouts last night. He left you alone for hours, and couldn't even try to admit to where he was.

You knew he was hiding something...

Your head felt heavy against your pillow, as you slowly began to stir. You couldn't shake the feeling that George was lying to you about where he was. You knew that he wasn't with Fred, because you saw him and Sam last night, very clearly enjoying each other's company.

You sat up in your oversized bed, rubbing the tired feeling out of your heavy eyes. You turned to see Hermione staring right at you, barely blinking as she waited for you to open up.

"Uh- hello?" you said, pulling  a sweater over your thin pajama top as she continued to just try and find your thoughts.

"You came in pretty late last night, were you with George again?" She said, closing the book that laid upon her pajama clad lap. You just sighed, trying to think of the answer.

Do you lie, or do you tell her the truth?

You released a deep breath, as you turned back to face her concerned look, "No Mione, I was not with George, he never showed last night."

You heard a small gasp escape her lips as she took in your reaction. You were boiling with anger still, but your face was emotionless. You were unsure what to even say, or let alone how to hold yourself in this moment.

She moved the book up off her lap, and made her way to your mess of a bed. Your bed ironically was a sign of your life, messy and not together per usual.

"He did what? Did he tell you where he was all night?" She said, sitting next to you. You knew if you made eye contact with her that you would cry, and you didn't want to cry over him.

"He didn't say anything, he just covered himself and then decided he would make up for it today. I know he's lying, I know him well enough to know that. He was a player long before I was around, and he'll probably be one after I am gone." you said, sorrow evident in my voice as you spoke of George as if he was a distant memory.

A sigh passed her lips as she swung her arm around your tense shoulder. "Well he would be dumb to pass up on such an amazing girl, who so clearly loves him"

You released a deep breath you didn't know you were holding in, as you laid your tired head on her shoulder. Trying to keep the tears from falling from your eyes, you feel like you are losing George to someone else.

Hermione just held you close as you tried to hold yourself together, you just wanted this moment to be over, you wanted to be one with George again but you have this horrible deep feeling.

"Do you want to help me get ready? I have a date with George in Hogsmeade." you said, lifting your head from her shoulder. A smile erupted on her face as she jumped off the bed, running towards your mess of a closet.

You couldn't help but laugh at her eagerness, as it was coming from the girl who didn't brush her hair most of first year, and didn't understand matching for the longest of times.
