saiki kusuo was not the kind of person to get stressed out. but his "friends" irritated him and sometimes he wished they'd leave him alone. to make things worse, nendou's ghost dad, takeuchi riki, was happily bothering saiki.

every three minutes, saiki would teleport to different areas across japan, but nendou's dad would always find him.

saiki and takeuchi were on a deserted island in the middle of the pacific ocean.

"huh, you're fast," nendou's dad commented. as a ghost that could go through physical things, he was sticking his head through a palm tree.

"you should know that by now," saiki thought. "it's been three minutes, i think i can go back to pk academy. maybe he'll leave me alone."

saiki almost smiled, but then remembered that teruhashi kokomi, nendou riki, kaidou shun, hairo kineshi, and toritsuka reita exist.

"what if i go to another dimension? maybe an anime world? well, i'm already in an anime, but i mean a totally different one."

saiki kicked the sand while thinking. where could he go in which takeuchi wouldn't be able to find him? he wanted peace and quiet, so an anime without action would be a good idea.

no, no, no. scratch that. he didn't feel like mind controlling everyone to think he was normal so he would definitely blend in better if he were in a shounen.

"what are you doing?" takeuchi asked, his head still stuck in the tree.

"planning on getting away from you."

"can i join you?"

"no. the whole point is for you to go bother reita or maybe nendou. i want coffee jelly."

"i want ramen. do you want to get ramen?"

"what kind of shounen should i go to? maybe my hero academia? hmm actually i don't know. i don't want curious people like...what's his name? deku? i don't want people like deku figuring out i'm a psychic. that would mean i'd have to talk...i hate talking."

"do you want to get ramen?"

"yare yare, if i go to a shounen, these superpowers will exist regardless. maybe i could go to hunter x hunter or naruto? their version of powers is definitely different compared to my hero academia."

saiki stared at takeuchi again. he was no longer stuck in the tree. in fact, he was sitting next to it. he offered saiki a big smile. the psychic almost felt guilty for wanting to leave him.

he made his mind up. hunter x hunter dimension, prepare yourself, saiki kusuo is inviting himself there.

saiki waved at takeuchi before teleporting to the unfamiliar dimension. he found himself on a ship with many other people. he analyzed his surroundings. a powerful storm hid what was once the blue sky. a kid wearing all green was arguing with a tall, blacked haired man and a shorter blond.

saiki internally pointed at the kid. "i know an anime protagonist when i see one. that's gon, right? man, i haven't seen hunter x hunter in awhile."

gon noticed saiki staring at him. he grinned at the pink-haired teen.

"you know what? this isn't so bad," saiki thought to himself. "hopefully the plot doesn't get affected by my presence. yare yare, i don't want to be pessimistic."

oh, saiki kusuo, little do you know.

(it's almost 3am for me rn and i had a burst of motivation to work on another alt ending for this fic. i was actually planning on writing an ending where saiki went to a different anime. i wasn't planning for it to be HXH but i'm not complaining. i haven't watched HXH since june, so i barely remember season 1 - which is where saiki teleported) - inevitably and unsurprisingly unedited 😀
