Blind Dates

Come Monday morning Lily had decided she couldn't tell Jason anything about what she had seen Melissa up to, or to question him about who she had seen in the window

But they also filled Emily in on what she missed

And right now Hanna, Aria, Lily and Emily were standing outside the pawn shop that Spencer had given Melissa's ring into

"This place is skeevy." Aria frowned

"She pawned her sister's wedding ring. You're not gonna go to Tiffany's." Hanna shrugged

"So... Wren and Melissa?" Emily asked

"Weird, right?" Lily nodded

"Could you tell what he gave her?" She asked

"No. She didn't seem happy about it." Aria said

"I wonder if Ian will be." Hanna added

Aria looked at Emily "How you holdin' up?"

"Great." Emily said sarcastically "Ever since I got that fake scholarship letter, my mum thinks I can do no wrong. I'm living a lie I didn't even tell."

"Leave it to "A" to make you feel bad about your mum feeling good." Lily sighed and Spencer came outside

"This guy gave me a horse shoe in return!" She cried "The ring's gone! I can't believe that it's gone."

"At least you got your money back." Lily shrugged

"Am I supposed to give her this?" Spencer held up the horse shoe "I stole it! I actually stole my sister's wedding ring!" Their phones all rang so they pulled them out to see what A had decided to tell them this time

"Fun," Lily sighed "I need to get home," She left the other 4 girls and got back into her car to drive home

"Hey," Caleb said when she came inside "I made your tea,"

"Thanks," She smiled and picked it up "You okay?"

"Tired," He nodded "Jason came by to pick up Teddy by the way,"

"Good," She said

"So what's up with you guys? Are you together yet?" Caleb asked with a mischievous look

"I'm not telling you that," Lily chuckled

"I mean you act like you're together," He said

"We're not official, no," She answered

"What are you guys waiting for?" He asked

"I don't know," She said "We'll just have to wait and see, now enough questioning, eat," He laughed but dug into his cereal anyway

When they had finished breakfast the pair drove to school and Caleb went to see some friends while Lily went to her locker

"Lily!" She heard Ella Montgomery call her

"Hi Ms Montgomery," Lily grinned and Ella rolled her eyes

"In class it's Ms Montgomery, but outside it's just Ella," She said

"Roger that," Lily laughed

"Anyway, so um, Mike left his keys at home today, and I've got a faculty meeting after school." She held up a key ring "Can you take these by his pickup game at the part after school?"

"Yeah, no problem." Lily nodded

"Thanks." She smiled and headed back to her classroom. Lily actually enjoyed Ella's English lesson which was very unexpected seeing as she hated school, but that was the only lesson all morning she enjoyed
