Save The Date

Since the night of the dinner Lily had noticed the other 4 girls leaving her out more, first it started with them meeting up late at night and not telling her, speaking in the hallway before class and going silent when she arrived

"Lily," She looked away from her coffee when Garrett approached her in the school courtyard

"What are you doing here?" She asked

"I came to speak to Spencer," He said "She was asking a lot of questions about how Alison was killed and if she could find out what with,"

"She never mentioned that to me," Lily frowned "Anyway, thanks for all your help with Ian's messenger guy,"

"Hey, like I said. I owed you." He nodded

"Thanks," She smiled and he left. Lily noticed Mike and he hesitated before approaching her, wordlessly Lily stood up from her seat and pulled Mike into a hug, he stiffened for a moment before hugging her back "You're okay,"

"Yeah," He said. Lily pulled back and smiled up at him "I thought you'd be angry at me,"

"No," She said "After school why don't we go do something? Cinema, coffee, dinner, anything you want,"

"Sure," He nodded

"Hey," One of Mike's friends came over "Montgomery, I heard Smash-And-Grab's become your new sport,"

"What's the deal, man?" Mike sighed

"You a gangster now?"

"Bite me," Mike snapped and went to leave but his friend grabbed his arm, Mike turned around and shoved him "back off!"

"Hey!" Lily shoved them apart, glaring at Mike's friend "Get out of here!" He chuckled and sent Mike a glare before leaving

"You don't have to defend me," Mike scoffed

"I was you once, Mike. I wanted someone to be looking out for me," She shrugged "I have to get to Bio," Lily patted his arm and made her way to class

At lunch she had been eating with Caleb when Spencer came running over to her saying Emily had collapsed in pain in the hallway and had been taken to hospital

Lily, Hanna and Spencer grabbed their bags and Spencer drove them to the hospital. At the front desk they were told by a nurse that it turned out Emily's collapse was the result of an ulcer

"Aren't ulcers something old people get?" Hanna asked while they walked to the lifts

"Get that look off your face. You're gonna freak her out." Lily said

"Her? What about me?" Hanna shuddered "I'm having deja vu. I spent a week in this place. If I see another bowl of green jello, I'm gonna puke on your shoes."

"Dibs walking behind her," Lily said to Spencer and Hanna's phone rang but she didn't answer

"Is that Aria?" Spencer asked

"Caleb. I'll just call him back later." Hanna shrugged

"What's going on?" Lily asked and they got into the lift "Han, are you and Caleb..."

"We're fine." She sighed "There's just stuff going on."

"Like what?"

"Like an undercover cop in a car following him."

"What? Why?" Lily asked. Caleb had been living with her for a while now and she was looking at him like a brother to her and the thought of him being followed or in danger terrified her

"I don't wanna talk about it." Hanna said

"You have to. You're in an elevator." Spencer pointed out "Where else are you gonna go?"
