Days had passed since Mrs Dilaurentis had been found dead and Ali hadn't said a word to anyone, not even Lily who had spent a lot of her time at their house to help Jason and Mr D

But today was her funeral so all the girls were dressed in black and waiting at Ali's house for her

"I don't want to see any police." Kenneth was saying to Jason "Not at the funeral, not at the cemetery. No police, no press."

"I took care of it." Jason replied

"Did you?" He asked

"Yes, I did." Jason sighed and Lily could see how tired he was becoming of his father

But then Hanna came back in after checking on Ali so they all turned to her "Hey, how is she?"

"She's getting dressed." Hanna replied

"Yeah, but how is she?"

"She's going to her mum's funeral. How do you think she is?" Hanna sighed

"She's going to bury the woman who tried to bury her." Spencer said

"Question is, who buried Ali's mum in Spencer's backyard?" Emily added

"It wasn't Jason." Lily said before anyone could suggest it was

"What makes you so sure?"

"Because I saw his face when... the dog found the body." She answered

"A dog who knows where the body was buried? That sounds exactly like A." Aria said

"Dogs dig. Okay? That's just what they do. They just smell something and they dig." Lily pointed out

"You didn't have to mention the smelly part." Hanna added

"Aria, A is gone. You know that." Emily whispered

"Yeah, A might be gone, but we still have to deal with Mona. She knows that Ali wasn't kidnapped. Got in Ali's face about it." Hanna explained

"She's not the only one we have to worry about." Spencer whispered

"Noel Kahn?" Aria asked "He's going to do whatever is best for Noel Kahn."

"That's not who I was thinking of." Spencer said

And then Alison walked into the room "That's not the dress we picked out." Hanna whispered

"That's not hers, but I've seen it somewhere." Spencer replied and Lily then realised where she knew it from, and Kenneth clearly did too

"Why are you wearing that dress?" He asked his daughter

"I wanted to wear something of mum's to feel close to her. I got it out of her closet." Ali explained

"Change it." He said

"Dad-"

"Why?" She asked

"Go upstairs and put on something else." He snapped

"We're late now." Jason said and Kenneth stormed out of the house. Jason sighed and his eyes landed on Lily

She nodded and walked over to him, he placed a hand on her back and led her out of the house. They were going together in his car so his dad could be alone, but even their drive over was a stony silence because Lily didn't know what to say to him

Throughout the whole service she kept a hand on his arm, until they closed the doors to the cremation, when he turned his arm over and moved his hand so he could lace his fingers with hers
