"Jury selection is expected to conclude today, and defence attorney Veronica Hastings made a statement to reporters this morning." 

"My client is emotionally exhausted. But he's relieved to know that he's finally going to have the opportunity to clear his name." 

"How did this get so big?" Hanna shook her head. She, Spencer, Aria and Lily were gathered in Spencer's kitchen with Teddy as well, watching the news on her TV as the end of Garrett's trial got even closer. Not only did Lily hope this would get Garrett free, but also she hoped it would mean Jason would come back to Rosewood sooner "I mean, it's like all eyes are on Rosewood."

"Can't help but think Toby took that job in Bucks county to avoid all this," Spencer said

"She's taking the long way because reporters are hounding her for interviews," Aria told them when she got back from her phone call with Emily. They had told Emily to come over too because 2 days ago Hanna and Spencer had found the other earring that Aria had buried with Alison in Paige's bag and Emily was pissed at them for going through it

"Okay, how are we gonna do this?" Spencer asked 

"Well, Emily think she's coming over here so we can apologise. But when she realises what this is, she'll probably be more mad at us than she was before." Hanna sighed 

"I am not looking forward to seeing that." Spencer nodded 

"In a successful intervention, the loved one feels safe, not judged." Hanna explained 

"Great. Right, so we'll start out all warm and fuzzy, and then we just have to hit her with the truth." Aria suggested 

"Yeah. And that's your cue." Hanna said to Lily

"So Paige was jealous of Ali and I 'cause we were popular, she hated us because we knew she liked Emily, and her liking Emily made her jealous of Maya and she was with Emily that night so it was easy for her to set us up." Lily said "Oh and also she's a complete freakazoid bitch who wanted Ali and I dead,"

"Maybe leave the last bit out," Spencer suggested and Lily grinned

"And she has the other earring." Aria added "So she must have Ali's body, right?" 

"Yeah." 

"Wait I don't get it." Hanna interrupted "If Paige was so into Emily, why would she drug her? And then why would she drug herself?" 

"Hanna, I thought we were all on the same "A" page here." Lily groaned 

"We are." Hanna nodded "This is a practice run." 

"Right, okay. Uh, drugging yourself is the best alibi ever." Spencer explained "Classic Sharon stone move. Remember that movie, basic instinct?" 

"No." The other three replied in unison 

"She wrote a murder mystery novel to cover up a crime that she was about to commit. It was actually kind of genius." Spencer said 

"Look, remember, I'm Emily here." Hanna reminded her "We still think that "A" is working with Mona. So what is your connection?" 

"Two people who hated Ali and me." Lily shrugged "Maybe one of them killed her and the other one covered their tracks."

"Or are still covering their tracks by stealing the body and then pinning it on us." Aria added

"But why would they leave Lily alive?" Hanna asked, acting as Emily

"Mona tried to send me away twice, threatened to send Jason to jail, then tried to kill me three times," Lily said "As for Paige she always used to tell Ali and I she would get us both one day so I'm guessing she's waiting for the chance to get me on my own, she knows I hate her and she knows I don't want her with Emily so she wants to get rid of me,"
