I see a shadow!
Holding treat box, I walk down the street
And I gaze at all the floating lanterns above
Looking at the far haunted attractions, I cringe
Like a snail crawling back to its shell
Over the hedge, I see a shadow
Wondering what it would be, I gasp and halt
Every passing second seems to take a longer time
Bracing myself to fall into my fear pit of unwanted thoughts
Not only me, but even the tree upfront is also wavering with fear!
