Rupunzel
She blinks twice her big blue eyes,
And she stares at the night sky like there's no place else to be.
Although, it's all a masquerade of lies,
Yet she has locked her smile in the stars that gleam.
She longs at it like its a wishing star,
I could swear there's magic in her dreams.
Except her stars turned out to be paper lanterns floating afar,
Her hopes turned out to be deafening screams.
And so the history beholds for yet another time,
There's always more to the story than it seems to be.
This is another unoriginal tale about crossing the line,
That momentarily sets me free.
