Midnight
As I lay under the stars
Wondering how bright they shine;
No one can hear me talk,
No one can hear me whine.
Gazing at the moon,
Never gets old;
For it reminds me of,
all the tales I've ever been told.
The breeze of air swept over me
And whispered in my ears;
Once again today,
Darkness was hiding my tears.
As I lay under the stars
With the night at its peak ;
Once again my wakeful soul
Had many answers to seek.
