Third Person POV
Seven years had passed since the freak duo graduated from Karasuno High school.
They travelled different paths in terms of universities after college but the duo held strong in their relationship.

But the two had made promises to the other. Whilst they were on separate college teams they vowed that they were each other's final boss.
And eventually, once their educations were over, they moved in together.

A small one bedroom house just off the boarder of Tokyo. They kept in close contact with their old high school volleyball friends over the years and often met up with them as and when they could. The setter still used his Little Space from time to time when things got a little too much of nightmares began to pop up and of course his spiker was always there to protect and comfort him whoever he needed it most.

Each had part time jobs but both had  trained hard in order to get into Japan's Volleyball team. It had been a dream of the two of them ever since they were children. It was something they hoped in the near future to share.
And last year, during their final years of university they received the news they'd made the cut to be on the official team and even in the starting line up.
It was also at this time they decided to adopt their first child.
Whilst searching they saw the young girl they met back in their second year - now a seventeen year old putting a baby she wasn't ready for up for adoption. Seeing the crazy resemblance the little girl had to the two of them, they decided to adopt her.

Currently it was the world's Summer Volleyball Tournament and the current match playing on almost every tv screen was Japan vs Russia. The semi final that was being held in Japan at this very moment.
And in a particular household on the boarder of Tokyo was a now twenty-seven year old Kouhai Sawumara watching the tv as he babysat a one year old girl with black and orange hair and hazel eyes. She held a bunny as she sat in Koushi's lap - in its ear stitched with black cotton was the singular word "Karasuno" alongside a small crow. (A/N picture above)

And playing on the tv screen was the Volleyball game between Japan and Russia.
If Japan were to win this final set they were to move onto the final against Brazil.
"Come on guys... You got this-" Koushi mumbled, gripping his husband, Daichi Sawumara's hand as the two of them watched the intense rally that was currently being recorded.

"The longest rally yet to go this game. Whoever takes this rally takes the momentum. But with a key difference. If Japan, containing the freak duo, Shouyo Kageyama and Tobio Kageyama make this next point they win the entire match! With the score being in the thirties now at 35-36 to Japan the anticipation of the falling ball is intense." The commentator explained as the ball flew from one side of the court to the other.

Within the living room, Koushi was practically biting his nails as his watched that oh so familiar set up right before his eyes once again.

The clean receive.

The intense approach.

The crazy falling set up.

The brief moment of judgement.

Until finally - the sound of certain victory!

Watching as Shouyo's hand made hard contact with that ball, watching Russia's libero narrowly miss his receive as the ball smashed onto the floor just behind him.
And the entire gym erupted in cheer.
"And there it is folks! The Super Quick we all know and love! Taking not only the set but the entire match!"

Back in the house, the ecstatic mother crow was crying in joy with the little baby girl held tight in his arms.
"They did it! Your mama and daddy did it!" He cried to the child.
Of course she didn't understand but with her enthusiastic babysitter she couldn't help but laugh and clap her hands.

Several hours later, Shouyo and Tobio returned back home.
"We did it Tobio! We get to go to Brazil for the finals!" An excited, five foot eight, twenty-four year old Shouyo giggled as he opened the front door to the new Kageyama household.
"Of course we did. Did you really doubt we wouldn't do it?" The smug, six foot six, twenty-four year old Tobio replied as he shut the door behind the both of them.

As they walked into their living room, they were greeted with Koushi and Daichi bombarding them with hugs.
"Woah woah! Easy Kou!" Shouyo laughed as he slowly got out for he hug.
"I'm so proud of you both!" Koushi cried, Daichi placing a hand on his shoulder to soothe him.

"Thank you. Was Tama much trouble?"
"Of course she wasn't. Perfectly happy and fine. She's missed you both though." Koushi giggled as Tama suddenly started babbling from within his arms.
"Mamamamadadadada!"

Shouyo giggled and took his daughter from Koushi.
"Hi little Tama~" he smiled softly.
Tama then held out the bunny she held to Tobio.
"She wants to show you something." Koushi said.
Tobio raised and eyebrow and took the bunny from his daughter, turning it over in his hands until he saw the stitching in its ear making his breath catch in his throat.
"What? What is it?" Shouyo asked, leaning over to look at the bunny, a smile forming in his lips as tears pricked his eyes.
"Oh wow~" he whispered before looking to Keishi.

"I thought you'd like it." He smiled widely.
"Thank you Kou. We love it." Shouyo spoke before going to hug his former upperclassman with his free arm.

"Really, thank you." Tobio added, his own surprisingly soft smile on his lips.
"It's not a problem at all." Koushi answered. "We'll leave you alone now though to spend time with Tama. Good luck guys." He continued grabbing his husband's hand once more.

With a goodbye from the freak duo, the two older males left.
Shouyo carried his daughter to the couch, curling up in a corner as always with Tobio coming to sit in front of him, hanging the bunny back to Tama.

"High school had its ups and downs but honestly, I think if it wasn't for those three years we wouldn't be here right now." Shouyo spoke up calmly as he began to rock Tama to sleep.
"I suppose you're right. With each event that happened, the closer we got. And it's all thanks to our companions we got so close in the first place." Tobio replied before whistling to release the beloved legendary Jaguar that fate had chosen as his companion thirteen years ago.

Chuckling, Shouyo releasing the intelligent Crow, watching as she made her way down to nestle in Shinryaku's fur.
"With both legendary companions, I think it was fate that we were to be brought together." Shouyo concluded.
"Bleugh don't be going cheesy on me now." Tobio snickered.
"Rude." Shouyo retorted but he smiled anyway.

This was how his family was and to him, it was the best family he could ever ask for. A loving husband and their beautiful little Tama Kageyama with the entire world at her feet.

And he wouldn't change a single detail about any of it.
