GIGI didn't have very clear why had she asked Crystal to give training at the circus a try. Maybe it was because Gigi truly thought she had what it took — not only the slight figure, but also the bubbly personality to accompany it; or maybe Gigi just wanted an excuse to see Crystal a little more, and talk to her for hours about the most trivial subjects, and maybe also gaze tenderly at Crystal whenever she laughed, because she looked so cute when she did.

Gigi had promised herself that, if Crystal showed up at the circus that day, she would return home and mark all of the Thursdays onwards, and get all thrilled like she used to when she was still a teen.

Though she still didn't know if Crystal was into girls, Gigi couldn't help but picture herself running her fingers through Crystal's cherry-red hair; or kissing her under the shade of, like, an oak at the park.

Gigi chuckled, and shook her head at that cheesy thought. ''That's what watching too many rom-coms since you were sixteen does to one, Gigi. Those type of things don't happen in real life!'' She thought, and let herself drop onto the small red stool next to her.

Gigi gazed at the huge chamber that surrounded her, and then at her watch. 5:47 pm — it was almost time for class to end, and Crystal hadn't even arrived yet. Gigi was concerned that she had simply agreed out of politeness, but that she had completely ruled out the offer. Anyhow, Gigi had no choice but to wait for her those 13 minutes.

The minutes passed slowly, and it seemed like they were never going to strike 6. Gigi became more and more desperate, what if something had happened to Crystal, and that's why she hadn't arrived yet? The blonde barely knew her, but couldn't help but worry so much about her.

LITTLE did Gigi know, Crystal had one big flaw that she was going to let Gigi discover for herself — she was always late. Whether it came to her fashion or to punctuality, she managed to often be very last-minute. The only difference this time, was that she had no idea how late she was.

She had only glanced at the flyer Gigi gave her before leaving a couple of times — she could've sworn her timing was right. That is why she was relaxed and calm on her way to the circus. But once she stepped out of the car, and in the tent, she realized how tardy she was.

''Until you decided to show up...!'' Gigi said, once Crystal entered.

''Oh my god, I'm so, so sorry! I thought the flyer said 6 pm!'' Crystal explained headlong, which made Gigi smile tenderly at her.

''It's okay, you're lucky that I don't have any other classes after this one — I'd only do it for you.'' Gigi said, with a small mischievous smile; Crystal didn't quite understand what did she mean by that, but she still couldn't help but blush. Gigi then looked at her up and down, and let out a small laugh.

''Crystal, what are you wearing!'' Gigi exclaimed, standing up from her stool, with the simper still plastered to her face.

''Oh, well this is just my everyday attire, but to the max! It's very circus-esque, don't you think?'' Crystal said, showing off her clothes.

''Well, definitely, but you look more like the circus clown than the aerial silks performer!'' Gigi said, taking one more glance at Crystal's outfit — it was all very bright and colorful, specially the baggy pants she was wearing, which had a bunch of different prints on them. And not only did they look ridiculous, but they also looked ridiculously uncomfortable to be in; but Gigi didn't have another option than to simply smile and nod at Crystal. She had a lot of work to do with her...
