Inside the Flame Hashira's Mansion..

"Wow! I never knew Hinokami was this cute!" Senjuro chirped, carefully peeking into the small wooden panel at the top of Natsumi's wooden box, out of fascination

Seeing his little brother peeking into Natsumi's box like a curious little child, Rengoku couldn't help but feel slightly amused by his brother's antics..

..He couldn't help it though, after all it's been months since he has last seen his younger brother's precious smiles..

"I'll go check up the rice.. Does anyone have any requests they'd like to make before I go?

"Oh! Some tea would be nice"

"Anything else?"

"Nope! That would be all, Senjuro.."

"Alright.." Senjuro replied as he immediately went towards the kitchen to prepare some tea, little did he know a certain Wind Hashira was already starting to make a fuss about his earlier comment..

"Grr! This is ridiculous!" Shinazugawa scowled as everyone caught a large glimpse of his agitated behavior, it was quite obvious Shinazugawa was irritated with helping his fellow comrade, but what other choice did he have when all odds were obviously against him

"Oh! Come now, Shinazugawa~! It was a majority vote after all, and you know it.." The Insect Hashira chimed, allowing a bittersweet smile to grace her lips as the Wind Hashira gave an annoyed little grunt towards her

"Tsk! As if, I didn't know that much!?" He growled as he suddenly slumps down over by the corner and takes a sip from his cup of tea before deciding to glare daggers towards the Insect Hashira, just to spite her..

Seeing the tension amongst his comrades finally settle down, Rengoku couldn't help sigh as he lightly shook his head in embarrassment before casting a tentative gaze towards his younger brother, who was currently occupied with preparing everyone's dinner at the kitchen counter..

"R-Ren.. R-Rengo.. Rengoku!" A sweet little voice chirped as Senjuro quickly turned his attention away from the stove, only to catch a quick glimpse of a certain little demon, who was currently clinging to his hakama pants with a bright smile on her face

Gasping in slight alarm, Senjuro couldn't help but feel slightly anxious with his situation, it was actually hard to believe that the Demon, who went through all that trouble just to save his older brother from harm's way, was basically standing right next to him clinging onto his pants like a little child would do to its own mother

"Is everything alright, Senju-.." Rengoku paused as his eyes nearly burst out from their sockets at the sight of his younger brother being embraced by a certain demon as if he were some kind of teddy bear to be cuddled with

"Ara~! Ara~! It seems little Senjuro has made a friend with our guest~?" The Insect Hashira chimed, only to receive  an awkward little laugh coming from Senjuro as everyone decided to help out with setting up the dinner table, considering that Senjuro has already found himself a new job in keeping Natsumi entertained for a little while longer..

A Few Hours Later.. At Dawn..

"Check!"

"What the-!?"

"Ha! Ha! Ha! Better luck next time, Uzui!"

"Geez.. How the heck do I keep on flamboyantly losing against a kid out of all people?" The Sound Hashira groaned as Natsumi receives a little biscuit from Senjuro for being a good sport, even though she rarely lost against the Sound Hashira

Tengen had to admit though, he was quite surprised by her skill at first, but then again she did seemed pretty confident in what she was doing, when Rengoku agreed to go on the Mugen Train mission with her..

"Ara~? Did you guys actually stayed up all night for a game of Shogi?" Kochou asked as Rengoku gave a slight chuckle at that before Senjuro decides to admit on what exactly happened last night..

It turns out Senjuro was already planning to put the board game away right after the Sound Hashira's match against Natsumi, but Tengen lost the game however and was determined to achieve victory against Natsumi, no matter how many times he intends to ask her for a rematch..

Kochou couldn't help but feel slightly amused by this, if she had known Tengen had lost the match she would have thought about staying for the rematch, considering that it was rather rare for the Sound Hashira to lose a match against anyone in a game of Shogi

"Morning! Morning!" Natsumi exclaimed as she immediately starts jumping around the wooden floors in excitement, successfully waking the rest of the Hashira from their slumbers as she runs around the mansion like a hyperactive little kid in a sugar rush

Rengoku knew this was bound to happen at some point but he must admit, it was fun to watch Shinazugawa deal with a hyperactive little Demon, especially after waking up in a bad mood from Natsumi's sugar rush

"A little help here!?" Shinazugawa shouted as he tries his best to restrain the little demon in his arms, only to wind up getting a couple of minor scratches from Natsumi as well as a few playfully little nibbles at his wrists..

"Wow! I'm impressed I never knew Hinokami would be this active as a child?" Mitsuri uttered as she carefully bounces a hyperactive little Natsumi in her arms, who was currently munching on another tea biscuit that Uzui gave to her earlier

"Ha! Ha! Ha! My bad! I forgot to mention Senjuro about the high sugar content in those tea biscuits, that he was feeding her with throughout the entire night!" Rengoku exclaimed as both, the Wind Hashira and Serpent Hashira, nearly lost their composure over from that little piece of information..

"Rengoku.." Iguro angrily hissed as he casts a menacing glare towards Rengoku, only to hear a low and dangerous little growl coming from Shinazugawa as he hovers his hand over the hilt of his Nichirin sword

"You knew and yet you didn't bother to warn him about it!?" Shinazugawa shouted as Rengoku gave an awkward little chuckle before bolting off towards an open door, only to be chased down by a certain Wind Hashira, who was angrily swinging his sword around like a madman..

"Get back here, Kyojuro!?"

"Ha! Ha! Chase me till to the ends of the earth if you can, Shinazugawa!"
