At the Shingetsu Fortress..

By the time Natsumi had returned to her Fortress, A raven-haired young girl dressed in a flowery kimono was found patrolling near the front entrance, along with a pink-haired young boy who had a scar by his mouth

"Oh? Back so soon, Tsuki?" The young girl asked as she grew confused on Natsumi's sudden return, usually when she leaves to visit the Kamado family, she would only return until after  New Year's Eve

"Hn? Who is that girl, Tsuki?" The young boy asked, curiously, as the young girl beside him began to notice the little stranger resting of Natsumi's back

Natsumi gave no response, however the look of corcern in her eyes was all that her juniors needed to get a complete grasp of the situation before granting her access to their base

Seeing Natsumi rush her way towards the infirmary, they couldn't help but feel a bit concerned for her sake every once in a while..

"Hey, Sabito? Do you think Tsuki is going to recruit her as well?" the young girl asked as her companion gave a gentle sigh before leaning against the wall with his arms crossed

"Perhaps.. We won't know for sure until we see it for ourselves, Makomo.." The pink-haired young boy, Sabito answered as his raven-haired companion gave a smile in response

"I hope so.. It's been a long time since any girls were recruited" Makomo chirped as Sabito smirked at her childish ideas

"Let's hope so.." he murmured as he heads off to patrol the Eastern side of their base, while Makomo covers the Western side of the base.

Meanwhile, At the Lotus Mansion (Infirmary)..

By the time Natsumi had arrived to the infirmary, Nezuko was already starting to stir as she began to show signs of consciousness

Natsumi couldn't help but sigh in relief, feeling herself relaxed as she felt Nezuko's burning gaze at the back of her head..

Nezuko looked very drowsy at this point, she didn't have the strength to bother try and pick a fight with Natsumi yet there was something about her scent that smelled so smoothing to her

She couldn't explain it, but strangely enough, it smelled like home to Nezuko, even if Natsumi's scent had a violent tang to it, the scent of home was enough to put her mind at ease

"H-Home.. S-Smells g-g-good.." Nezuko stuttered, only to end up nuzzling her face closer to Natsumi's neck as she slowly starts to grow sleepy from her scent

Glancing over her shoulder, Natsumi couldn't help but let out a soft chuckle as she stopped in front of to the warding area, only to hear a cheerful voice sneaked up behind her..

"Ara~ Ara~ Fancy seeing you here, Tsuki" A kind and gentle voice sound as Natsumi slowly turned her head towards the side, only to catch sight of a petite young girl dressed in a Butterfly haori

"Kanae?" Natsumi called, seeing a sweet smile plastered on the girl's face as she cast a curious stare towards Nezuko with a look of interest in her eyes

"Oh? Who's this little girl?" Kanae asked as Natsumi struggles to open the door right in front of her

"Well, I could tell you more about her, but I would appreciate it, if you could open this door" Natsumi asked, hearing a small chuckle escaping Kanae's lips as she opens the door for her

Natsumi sighed in brief relief as Kanae escorted her inside and prepares the bed for Nezuko while Natsumi took the liberty of getting Nezuko changed before allowing her to rest on her bed
