A few days went by and a few more girls went missing before the team finally had enough evidence to find the kidnapper and locate all the girls but they finally cought him and returned all the girls

The team was at there desks finishing the last of the paperwork when deeks stood up "I think I'm going to go get Jennah and head home" Deeks looked at his partner"uh me too" kensi stood up and grabbed her stuff "hey I was thinking we should all go out for drinks" Callen suggested kensi and deeks looked at each other "I don't think I can tonight" kensi looked at Callen "sorry G me either I have to get jennah from the boat shed and get her some more clothes" Deeks started walking to the door "fine Goodnight guys" Callen continued working on the paperwork

When kensi and deeks got out side kensi stopped deeks in front of the car "how about you drop me off at my place" Deeks smile started to turn into a frown "you can get jennah and I'll go shopping for you" kensi smiled at deeks noticing that he thought she meant so she could sleep at her place "sounds great" he bumped her with his shoulder and smiled his cheeky smile at her and she could have sworn her heart skipped a beat

Deeks had dropped of kensi picked up Jennah and was now home. Kensi wasn't there but she texted him saying that it might take her awhile so he didn't worry. "hey Jennah" he spoke softy to the toddler on his hip and she looked right up at him "do you wanna help me cook dinner for kensi" he asked her knowing she wouldn't be much help but he was hopping it might be fun for her "yeah" she looked up at him with her blue eyes that he now noticed were extremely similar to his own. He carried the small girl into the kitchen and set her on the counter she helped a little bit but mostly just made a mess until she fell asleep at the table while eating cereal. Deeks put Jennah into bed and continued to make dinner for kensi and himself. When he was finished he showered set the table and waited for kensi to come

After realizing how much time she had spent at the store kensi hurried home and brought all of the stuff into deeks apartment. After setting all the stuff down She realized she didn't hear deeks or Jennah but she smelt something extremely good so she followed the smell. When she got into the kitchen she couldn't help but smile at what was in front of her. Deeks had set a table for two with candles so the room was dimmly lit and he sat at the chair with that smile that made her knees weak. He got up and pulled a chair out for her "my lady" he looked at her and gestured for her to sit down and she did "you did this all" kensi asked not taking her eyes off of him "well I mean Jennah helped quite a bit but I did some of the work" he winked at her "this is..." she paused and looked down at the table "really sweet deeks" she smiled but didn't look up "I try" he said quietly "we should eat" Deeks went, grabbed the food, and prepared their plates. After a few minutes of silence because kensi was enjoying the food so much deeks looked up from the food "kensi..." "yeah" kensi said not looking up from the food "what do you think about helping me look for a house" kensi now looked up at him and smiled "I..I would love to" she studered "no kens I mean a house for us, I want to move in too" kensi was quiet for a second "I'm sorry that was out of line" Deeks looked down at his food "no no it wasn't you need help and I'm your partner" she smiled at him "and as for us our... Thing" he smiled at her struggle to say that "we will figure this out, although I do think we're doing this kind of back wards" kensi smiled at him and took there plates to the sink "wanna watch a movie" Deeks asked "sure" kensi replied "I would love too"

After 10 minutes of the movie kensi was getting bored of it and noticed deeks was too she was on the other end of the couch but had her legs stretched out so her feet were on his lap. "This is not a good movie" she complained and pulled her knees up to her chest as deeks looked at her "dont deny it you know it isn't" she now scooted closer to him "ok you got me there" he didn't take his eyes off her it was quiet for a second and kensi was now very close to deeks "It's cold" kensi snuggled up to the back of the couch and deeks rubbed her shoulder "thank you deeks" she sat up "not a problem partner" he brushed her face with the back of his fingers. There were close now... Dangerously close. So close that they both knew if they got any closer they wouldn't be able to help them selves "I think I'm going to go put on some more comfortable clothes" kensi smiled at him he didn't know what to say to her so he just nodded his head. He was confused did she like him or not why didn't he just kiss her when he had the chance. Little did he know kensi was thinking about the same thing and secretly scolding her self for getting up. So after she got dressed into some joggers and a t-shirt she went and laid next to him on the couch put her head on his chest and whispered "Goodnight" to him and he twirled her hair in his fingers "Goodnight" he smiled even though she couldn't see him. Once she thought he was asleep she whispered "I'm so sorry marty" he took a deep breath " dont be princess" he started to play with her hair again "I can wait" and with that hidden promise they both fell asleep
