Kensi got the text from her partner right after getting out of the shower so she threw some clothes on and headed to the nearest target
While searching through the isles filled with baby stuff she felt compelled to buy everything for this little girl. Kensi ended up buying way more than deeks had asked for including proper food, a few toys, a new blanket, and a stuffed animal that was similar to the one kensi had as a child.
Kensi arrived at deeks' place close to a half an hour later and opened the door to find a screaming toddler an obviously very overwhelmed deeks and a barking monty who just wanted to make everything better. Kensi set all the stuff she had just bought on the kitchen counter, grabbed Jennah from deeks arms and changed the toddler into a new diaper and fresh new footie pajamas. Jennah was still fussy but was slowly calming down as Kensi was bouncing her up and down in her arms and humming something while her back was facing deeks. Deeks came closer to the two girls and just closed his eyes, when he opened his eyes he notice the little girl had finally fallen asleep. "hey Kens" he whispered "she's sleeping" kensi turned around and smiled at him as she walked to his bedroom and laid the little girl down In the middle of deeks king bed, covered her with the new blanket she got for her and placed the little teddy bear next to her. Kensi turned towards deeks who looked overwhelmed, confused, sad yet also relived "hey partner it's ok it's not always gonna be like that let's watch some TV to get your mind off things for a while" they walked out of the room and left the door cracked just in case the young girl woke up
After an hour or so of watching TV kensi turned to deeks "It's almost 10 deeks we have work tomorrow i should get going" Deeks just looked at her almost scared "please stay for the night I need you" he said as a look came over kensi's face he had never seen before as Kensi thought to her self "need me? For how long... Forever" surpringly the thought made her happy "I mean... I need your help I can't do this alone... Please just stay for the night" Deeks said almost covering for his earlier statement kensi laid her hand on deeks chest "It's ok partner I'll be here as long as you need me" she smiled at him and laid down leaving her hand on his chest "kens..." Deeks almost whispered as Kensi looked up at him "thank you" he said as he placed a light kiss on her forehead. Kensi's heart melted at this small gesture and she just wanted to kiss him senseless right there but in fear of ruining the great thing they shared she just smiled and mumbled "no problem" as she rested her head on the couch again.
