Hospital hallways

Kensi sat in a chair, Callen sleeping in the chair next to her and Sam staring blankly at the wall next to him. It had been 3 hours since jennah was taken into emergency surgery for reasons that none of them really understood and deeks hadn't stopped pacing up and down the hospital halls. " Deeks!" kensi almost yelled "please sit down your making me crazy" she heard a small laugh from Sam but she ignored it and deeks took the seat next to her

After 5 hours of surgery the doctor came back into the waiting room "family of jennah" the whole team stood up and walked to him "I can only talk to the intermediate family" he looked around at the 4 agents "we are intermediate family" Sam took a step closer "ok" the doctor stepped back to distance himself from them "it was a long surgery but we expect her to make a full recovery" kensi smiled and deeks took a breath of relief "but right now we have put her into a coma but we do not expect it to last long you guys are welcome in" the doctor moved out of the way of the door and motioned for them to come in so they did. She looked pretty much ok except for the cut on her forehead besides that you could hardly tell she had been hurt, she looked peaceful sleeping and deeks just wanted to hold her. There were only two seats but the nurse brought in two beds so they could all stay over night.

It was around 12 when Callen brought in lunch for everyone. Kensi gladly took the food but deeks didn't accept the offer "come on deeks you have to eat" she put her hand on his back "I will Kens don't worry about me we have bigger problems" he snapped Sam and Callen looked to kensi, she had a look on her face that neither of them had ever seen she looked hurt she stood up and walked out of the room. Deeks knew what he had just done and he didn't know what to do, he put his head in his hands and sat for a few minutes "she's outside the door deeks just go talk to her" Callen finally broke the silence deeks got up and opened the door to find a sleeping kensi curled up into a ball. He smiled at this and closed the door so Sam and Callen couldn't hear him. He slid down the wall right next to kensi and he kissed her forehead. She woke up and smiled at him "did I fall asleep out here" she looked confused "yeah I guess so" Deeks laughed "look kens I'm sorry I'm just worried I didn't mean to snap at you like that" he brushed the hair out of her face "It's fine I understand" she said looking down "kensi are you ok" he tried to get her to look at him but she wasnt "I'm fine" she stood up and so did he "kens I.." Sam cut him off by opening the door "she's awake" he almost yelled
