After dinner kensi suggested that they give Jennah a bath, so the two agents sat on there knees on the side of the bathtub as the little girl screamed Because she didn't like the water. Kensi noticed her partner looking sick to his stomach and tired as hell "hey partner I promise it won't always be this hard" kensi tried to smile at him "you said that last time" Deeks almost whispered "Deeks..." Kensi put her hand on his shoulder "it will get easier she will grow closer to you, she's just scared right now and she doesn't have her mom" kensi tried to sound stong but seeing her partner like this broke heart. Deeks finished washing jennahs hair and kensi wrapped her in a towel. Jennah laughed as Kensi dried her off, wrapped her in a cocoon with the towel and lifted her into her arms "deewks" the little girl squealed as she got her arms out of the towel and tried to get deeks to grab her. Both the partners smiled at this and deeks grabbed Jennah from kensi "I told you" kensi smiled
It was 9pm and they had finally gotten Jennah to sleep in deeks bed, kensi wanted to stay with her but deeks insisted on watching TV before bed with her but he really just wanted to talk to her. Once they were both on the couch and kensi had started watching TV deeks turned towards her "do you really think I can do this" kensi smiled but didn't turn her face away from the TV "if I didn't why would I keep trying to tell you that it will get easier" Deeks just looked at her " stop staring at me please" kensi now looked at him " I'm so sorry princess kensilina I can't look at a pretty girl on my couch" kensi was almost shocked at his words but instead of showing him she was flattered he threw the pillow that was under her arm directly at his face "see now princess I might compliment you more if you didn't do things like that every time something nice comes out of my mouth" kensi smiled and was suddenly glad that the room was dim so he couldn't see the red on her cheeks "your pushing your luck shaggy" she laughed and scooted closer to her partner so they were almost touching and laid down next to him "I'm tired now shh" Deeks pulled her closer to him so her head was in his chest bracing himself for her punch but it never came. He just smiled and waited till she fell asleep "oh kensi blye what am I going to do with you" he whispered and kissed the top of her head
