Enough with the Legends

The towns people were all helping putting the Castle together as a team building exsersice. It started out alright everyone talking and smiling till around noon it started to get a little rough people were yelling and blaming each other.
"THAT WALL WAS SUPPOSE TO STAY THERE" old Qually yelled at the shoe maker.
"I'll go get the glue" Flesbar said. Varian over heard this and was confused.
"I don't think glue is going to help" but everyone just glared at him. As the day went on more and more people started to bickered while Raps tried to calm everyone down but that was not working well. Just then a map was reviled on the wall.
The lost treasure of Herz Der Sonne
"That's perfect! We can have a race on who can find it first" everyone cheered " and in teams" that's when cheering turned into groning.
"Who gets to decide?" Someone called from the crowd.
"H.A.T" Rupunzel called out. She showed them the very not needed to be complicated machine that drew people's names.

"Varian and Feldspar

"NO!" Feldspar yelled out "I am not being paired up with a criminal" that word pierced the kids heart, no one has ever called him a criminal. He knew he was concitered one but having someone call him that to his face crushed him. Varian just stayed quite, not wanting to draw any more attetion to himself. He thought taking in apart of this would help begain the road to trust, but it's hard when they won't even give him a chance. People started arguing about how they didn't want to be paired up with him either, Varian was about to walk away when he heard a low, baritone but booming voice speak over them.

"I will be paired with the young boy" Varian looked up to see Xavier smiling at him. "I will find the treasure with Varian" Varian smiled at the tall legend knowing man. Most of the towns people now never call Varian by his name, usually some harsh word or won't even acknowledge he is present so to hear someone other then this friends call him by his name was comforting and felt like there was hope to be had.
"You are willing to be paired up with that freak?" someone else called the crowd.
"Have you ever heard of the legend of the Sly Fox with the kind heart but dark past"everyone grown and rulled their eyes.
"Ok ok ok, what ever" the shoe maker said.
"Thank you Xavier" Varian whispered as he walked over to his partner. The man just smiled. Varian build a hot air balloon for the two to use as they flew towards their destination.
"This is so great! I feel like a bird, who knew helping Saporians take over would come in handy" Varian laughed but he didn't hear anything from Xavier. He looked over to see his reaction, and he didn't really show one. It wasn't angry, nor was it happy from the joke.
"Was it too soon?" Varian asked
"Its only too soon, if you feel like its to soon, the situation affects you the most, no matter what the others say. It reminds me of the legend of the
Man who was so desperate to join the protesters, but they kept saying he wasn't ready then his heart soon filled with hate and he turned on them. he didn't have a redemption till years later" Varian smiled not knowing if theses legends were real or just made up trying to make him feel better, but either way it was working.
"Have you ever heard of the story of the Queen who hid behind the doors of her castle" This has been the fifth legend sience the fox one and Varian was starting to get annoyed by them.
"Well-n-no, can't say I have"
"its been said that the Queen was born with magical powers" Varian rolled his eyes not wanting to hear about the Queen or any other legend. He didn't mind talking to Xavier, it was listing to all the legends that drove him and the towns people crazy. As the balloon kept moving they saw a body on the edge of a rock. Varian pointed it out and the two quickly lowed the balloon, they ran out asking if the person was alright. No answer, as they came closer they realized it was a decoy, they looked up when they heard two people laughing. It was Pete and Angry.
"Hey your playing dirty"
"No one said we couldnt be smarter then you" Angry shot back.
"She reminds me of the legend of the girl who thought she was smarter then ever one around her" Varian took the helmet that was on the dummy and put it on his head to cover his ears and sat down on the ground in anorence. The two found a small boat and started rowing in the direction of the treasure. Varian doing his best to block out the stories Xavier kept telling. Just then he saw Raps and Flaspar race across the grass.
"How are they going that fast? Wait she has a map! HEY YOUR CHEATING" Varian yelled as he stood up on the boat and within a few seconds he fell into the water quickly climbing back on board.
"With a map she is cheating yes, that reminds me of the legend of the cheating williows"
"ENOUGH WITH THE LEGENDS" Varian holered at Xavier. Thirdy minutes later everyone was yelling at Rapunzel and Flespar for cheating when they all reached the temple.
"Your cheaters" Angry yelled.
"Ya, wha- your one to talk, you stool our balloon" Varian shot back
"That was well within the rules" Pete stuck up for his partner.
"ENOUGH! IF WE TAKE THIS TREASER GREAT DOOM WILL BE RELEASED!" The girl with the 70 feet of long blond hair hollered.
"What kind of doom"
"Whats the percentage of doom we talking about"
"doom like we will all die" everyone was questing if the prize was grader then the risk. Out of no where Eugene and Lance take the box from Rapunzel and open it.
"EUGENE NO!" Hundreds of ghost flew out of the box with swords and axes.
"The legend is true the legend of the undead protectors of the Herz Der Sonne treasure has risen!" Xsavier exsclaimed.
"WHAT! next time lead with the high doom ration legends." Varian's eyes were about to pop out of his head. He saw that Eugene still had the rock in his hand and Lance had the box.
"We need to put the stone back in the box!" Varian yelled, everyone turned to him and grumbled about how they didn't want to listen to him. Varian was about to speak up but Rapunzel beat him to it.
"If you don't like Varian fine, he understands, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't listen to him while he is trying to help. Now PUT THAT STONE BACK IN THE BOX!" everyone did the best they could but it wasn't till Varian noticed how Angry was trying to protect Catalina, and seeing the red headed girl in trouble got him a little angry at the ghost.
"Hey Ghost" Varian said running full speed and hit the ghost making it fall and getting sucked in the box. Everyone started helping each other and in no time everything was back to normal. Everyone was walking outside while Varian waited for Xavier to leave.
"good job Xavier"
"You too Varian" The man responded in his baritone voice
"Hey Zaivs, you know you never finished your story about the cheating Willows" Xavier turned around with a smile on his face.
"Really? its kind of a long story"
"I got time" Varian said as they walked all the way back to Carona. As Varian was listing to the legend he saw Angry and Catalina up ahead and he was looking at the red-headed girl who was walking backwards making Lance laugh along with herself. Varian didn't notice this but he laughed as well, not knowing what they were laughing about, but when he saw the smile on Catalina's face it warmed his heart. He was so lost in thought that he didn't even notice Xavier had finished the story. Xsavior didn't care that Varian didn't listen for most of the story. He knew that Varian wasn't doing it to be rude, that he was distracted by the charming young girl.
"Aww young love" Varian snapped out of it and blushed.
"I don't know what you mean?"
"Well, you should learn more about it"

While Cass was getting a handle on the rocks, starting to become proud of the success she was making. The little ghost girl was off to the side trying to figure something out.

"Who could be the rightful owner on the moonstone. They will know how to control the power, and then together with me having the power of the sun drop and them wielding the power of the moon stone, together we will role Corona. And if not, I have my ways" Zan tire floated back to Cass to see her progress.
"Fear is what holds you back, if you want to face your destiny, if you want to destroy Rapunzel you have to loose your fear, loose everything" Just then red rocks grew out of the ground and spread all the way to corona.
