You,

Underneath the dark sky, I found you sitting on our favorite spot. Looking at the constellations up above, mesmerizing the beauty of the twinkling ocean of stars. I know you're wishing you are one of them too—shining even if darkness enveloped you. The cold breeze blew which let you hugged yourself, then I heard a voice I am sure it was you. "All of you", you said referring to the stars, "How can you do it. How can you give light to someone who only gives darkness in return?", you paused, silence followed.

Moments after, you stood up and tried to take a final look up there. Once again you shouted but this time you pointed your finger to the moon, "And you, moon, how can you to stay with him—with darkness— even if he's not worth staying for". "I tried.. I tried my very best to stay with him. I promise you, I tried my best."

Tears fell from your eyes then your body started to quake. What's that for? Was it because of regret?

Pain?

Or was it because of love?

I wanted to go to you and hug you so tight but I can't. I wanted to comfort you but how can I comfort someone if I couldn't feel warmth anymore.

As you walked by, I said to myself, "Consummatum est. (it is finish)" "Vale mi amor (goodbye, my love)". Indeed, it's a goodbye.

Good bye, Papii.
