'What about five heads? Especially a dragon with five heads' the younger asked making the older look at her like she was crazy

'That's a little too catastrophic'

Hicca's pov

Hiccup and I were flying on toothless, my older brother paying attention. I however was too busy playing in the fog around us watching as it slipped through my fingers.

This exercise was my idea. Toothless had flown through it just fine with his spectacular senses this morning when I couldn't see. I thought it best to teach the others that they could rely on their dragons when they couldn't do something.

Saying as how toothless had it covered, I relaxed and enjoyed playing with the fog.

"How are we suppose to see up here?" I heard Ruffnut ask and I sighed. Of course they weren't paying attention, why would I think differently? Toothless flew closer to the zippleback.

"You're not, that's the whole point." Hiccup said.

The fog feels sorta damp, what was it made of? Water? Did Odin make fog from water? I squinted around me.

'I'm onto you Odin'

"Oh" Tuffnut said. Wait for it. "No I still don't get it" there it is.

"When you two can't see, you have to trust barf and belch to see for you" hiccup said and toothless pulled away into the fog. He knew where to go so we didn't bump into anyone. "Like this"

We spent a few more seconds flying around before we heard a crash. Coming out of the fog, we looked down and saw the twins and Fishlegs in a tree.

"It could be worse" Hiccup said. Toothless and I agreed. No one looked hurt so that was good. The twins glared at one another and I noticed barf and belch spinning.

'What was going on?'

I watched as Fishlegs whistles, gaining Meatlug's attention. He then made a few hand gestures and I watched interested as she picked up the twins from off the branch before it broke. I watched interested.

"Yes, it worked!" He said but didn't notice his own branch was cracking. Just in time, we swooped down and he landed behind me.

"Thanks guys"

"What was that thing you were doing?" Hiccup asked

"Well I decided to come up with hand signals in case Meatlug and I got seperated and she was out of range for telepathy"

Hiccup glanced at me. 'That's actually a genius idea' and I nodded excitedly before turning to Fishlegs.

"That's incredible Fishlegs!"

"Yeah i know!" Fishlegs exclaimed

"We should start working on those right away" Hiccup said. We got the rest of the riders and went back to the academy. Hiccup and Fishlegs explained what we would be doing. We went in our little corners and started.

"Toothless, battle ready!" Hiccup said getting in a slight fighting stance with a balled fist. Toothless copied hiccup looking ready to pounce, bearing his fangs.

"Toothless" I said and he looked at me curiously. I pointed my finger to the ground. "Plasma blast!" The shield I had, I threw it in the air. Toothless immediately blasted the shield into pieces. "Good job bud!"
