Today I felt like I had woken up on the right side of the bed. I got out of bed early, my car already had gas in it. And there was trauma at work. Meaning some great cases. I looked up from my phone to see Laura walking over to me.
"You will not believe what happened!" She said. I sighed, satisfied with everything.
"Well, I don't have to believe it because I am having a great day. I woke up early, went for a little run, and did some workouts in the gym. Came back home and had a great breakfast. Do you know when the last time I had pancakes? Well before today, it has been like three months. Three months since I had made myself a decent breakfast. And I got here early, which means Gonzalez or Anderson is probably on his way up right now, requesting for me on his service. So whatever you are about to say won't ruin my day." I said, smiling. She sighed.
"Anderson got into John Hopkins! And the new Neuro God is in the chief's office right now!" She said. I gasped, standing up.
"WHAT?! When did... wait how did?!" I was so pissed. Anderson had been a great teacher and had made me interested in Neurosurgery. How could he just leave?
"Yeah, and you won't believe who's replacing him. It's Dr. D-" I ran out of the room and into the stairwell. I had to find Anderson to say goodbye.

I walked into the OR scrub room to find Dr. blue eyes scrubbing in.
"Ahh. Camila. What are you doing here?" He asked. I sighed.
"Is it true? He's leaving?" I asked. He dried his hands, turning to face me.
"Yeah. But he's upstairs clearing out his office. I'm about to scrub in with the new doctor. What's his name?" He asked me. I shrugged.
"I don't know," I mumbled.
"Oh yeah! He was here before. You guys called him Dr.Dimples, I think." He said. I laughed.
"It can't be. He's living in California." I told him. He shook his head.
"No, he moved here." He said. I widened my eyes.
"I-i got to go," I said. He waved as I walked out, running over to the small crowd in front of the chief's office.
"What's going on?" I asked Laura. She pointed to the window.
"You ran off before I could tell you. It's Dr. Dimples, aka Dr. Hottie, aka-" I gasped as I looked over to see Jaehyun shaking hands with the chief.
"Aka Dr. Jung." I gulped.
~~~
"So when were you planning on telling the rest of the residents that you were leaving?" I asked Dr. Anderson, stepping into his office. He laughed.
"It was completely last minute. Since their head of neuro retired, the chief of surgery at Hopkins reached out to me. I mean how could I turn down Hopkins?" He said. I shrugged.
"But Massachusetts General is ranked 3rd. Hopkins is fourth!" I mumbled. He nodded.
"They are paying me better. A-and we only outrank them by 1.4 percent," he explained. I laughed.
"It is still a percent!" I argued. He smiled.
"So Jaehyun is here. How are you doing with that?" he asked. I shrugged.
"I don't- Why would it affect me?" I asked him. He smiled.
"Jaehyun and I are friends. We talk. He told me that you two have been talking." He said. I widened my eyes, my cheeks turning red.
